Coreg Path Video Tutorial(202) and FULL TEMPLATE...if Your Lost THIS is Your Thread

Ok folks you asked for it and here it is...a full video series on how to setup a coreg path with 202

With a coded template....YAY!

for the template its based on

http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/

which if you haven't used it is a great software to make pops with...its quick and very fast...but its quite powerful as well as it does have jquerry stuff built-in if you want to go that route...

Best of all? has a 30day trial period....try it if you like it its only $44.95

now that said I don't own this software and there is no aff link...I just like it and use it all the time and I think for many of you new to HTML and PHP it can make your life easy weasy....

taking action and getting data is more important than you sitting down and learning code imo....you can learn as you go.....just use this great tool to get started....

here is the download link for the template..... http://11x.me/202template

on to the vids....5 min each. First 2 cover some of the basics of the editor...the rest go into how the path/template works....the last vid is for those of you who want to integrate silver-path...as what I have done in the template is set it up for GT.....

I will be adding a update soon which will integrate aweber....but for now....lets focus on the basics.....

here is the test link so you can see the path in action.....

http://baconate.me/202/winner.php?t2...ornsareawesome

here are the vids...

This vid below is for the silver path integration

I will do my best to answer any questions you have....

P.S. some thanks button lovin' would be nice as it keeps the unicorns happy......

nah there is already a bunch of code in the forums already that have the basic code....but people get lost in it...thats why I set this up this way.....it limits the confusion of what goes where and how....

Question: SilverPath gave me links where the 1st page in their path is basically the data collection form on page2.php (in your example). So they are hosting the data collection form & page I guess... So the only page I'd have control over is winner.php.

You disgust me with your awesomeness.

Shanktank helped me out with the mobile coreg stuff, is this tracking process the same for mobile?

I want that editor for Mac. Any other mac elitists have something similar?

  • Could this tutorial still work in this setup?
  • Or, can SilverPath change the path to not include the data collection page?
  • Or should I do my own data collection form and then send the user to their data collection form?
That's their GWP path.
Good for getting the feel for how things convert.

After that, ask your AM for the coreg path link and set up your own front end page.

Ouch, just realized there's no way to open the file on a Mac... anyone have a solution how to use these files on a Mac?

10-02-2011 01:56 PM #17 tijn (Moderator)

Flux might be similar. Im just checking it out now

Heres a video:
http://theescapers.com/screencast/index_intro.html

Heres the app:
http://www.theescapers.com/flux/

Its on the appstore i think

okie i misplaced the ?sid=[[subid]] . I placed it like ?sid=[[subid]]page2.php instead of page2.php?sid=[[subid]]

now its working fine. thanks once again for the videos polarbacon!

edit #2
okie my bad i solve it. The problem actually lies with the subid.

i keep getting http://myawesomeshit/202/?sid=10page2.php and the page remain as winner.php instead of moving on to page2.php

edit #1
i think im missing out something here. i have rewatch it a couple of times but i still dont get it. How do i redirect the go.php -> page2.php?

Oh this is that Fecken good!

Helps so much man!

@tijn / @theguvna,

iWeb is probably the closest that comes to mind. Old, but literally drag n drop web building.

Flux to me, seems even more complicated that DreamWeaver at initial glance, ... I'm hunting down some youtube vid's to see if Flux can be turned into a landing page machine

Awesome! That's the one I'm really looking forward to.

Any chance you'll show the process with a good old text editor?

WYSIWYG editors confuse me (seriously).

10-11-2011 11:20 PM #22 theguvna ()

@extremesg.... I actually don't want "simple" necessarily. I typically use Dreamweaver or CODA. I just wanted to use his templates. I haven't downloaded them yet so maybe I still can, was gonna check them out now.

sorry for the double post... PB do you have these templates in just normal php files by chance? For us mac users.

Just a couple of quick questions for polarbacon or whoever else would know...

1) When I get to my path page, I press 'pass' to check out the offers like in the tutorial video - except for me, it takes me straight to the exit offer. This doesn't seem right. Any idea what's going on here?

2) For PPV - is it better to keep the path in the pop up window with a header or do you guys pop it into a new full size window? If you do the latter, is it possible to iframe just the path window (as opposed to all the grey) or are you unable to do that since the path starts to take you down all these offers and they wouldn't display correctly?

Thanks.

Now there is a Mac beta out of the program, it seems that the template file doesn't work (i.e. can't be imported).

Are there any other export options PolarBacon, as simply renaming the extension from to .qwb (what the mac version uses), just crashes the prog!
If there isnt' another way to export it, perhaps you could check with the dev's on how to do this? (PC -> Mac)

Thx!

anyone managed to get it to work with the PC templates???

Do you have the example where the data is saved first into Aweber before going into the GameTheory path?

Update: I went through the code and made my own modfications to make it work for GameTheory. However, it would be nice to see the OP's version too.

i hope you don't mind polarbacon, but i went ahead and threw together your template in php file format for everyone bitching about wysiwyg, and the mac tards.

Hi,
if I have email submit form on the winner.php,
how can I pass that email to page2.php for auto fill?
Thanks.

the video is not accessible in the first post, can this be fixed please?

for the mac users....a simple solution would be install parallels or vmware to run the WYSIWYG program.
