How can I choose the best offer from more than one networks? (11)

How can I choose the best offer from more than one networks?

I had registered on a few networks, 2 of them approved my account whilst others are still pending.

I'll start to run my first mobile campaign and plan to stick at one offer.

I asked the AM about the top offer.

Network A: Antivirus, Croatia, $1.54 / payout
Network B: Rise of the dragon, Thailand, $1.15 / payout

Based on two offers above, I wonder:

Is there any conditions to determine which offer is the best (between them)? I mean, are the offers comparable, for example: "Rise of the dragon" offer in network B is better than "Antivirus" offer in network A (and vice versa)? If yes, how to determine it? Or is it actually up to me when selecting offer?

Thank you.

I think it's really up to you when you select a offer. You're in this to make money I assume? I hope so! So, I would try applying to more networks and ask for their top offers. When you see a trend of what verticals tend to be the top offers then you know what niche to go off from to make the big bucks. But, keep in mind of the payouts of those offers, you shouldn't pick a $20 payout offer if you only have less than $200 budget daily. Stick to offers that has lower payouts like app installs, with $0.30 to $1 payout you get much more legroom when it comes to testing. The less amount of payout a offer is the more data you can gather to make a educated decision on whether or not to continue with the campaign.

These are different offers, in different GEOs and different niches.

There is no right answer here. Other factor to consider are traffic types that work well for each offer (for instance- you planned on trying pop traffic but one of them is working best with social...).

You can ask those networks for a couple more strong offers they have and see if they are similar.

Ask about the EPCs of each offer. It wouldnt tell you the whole picture (again, maybe 1 offers is best promoted with pops and so the EPC is lower than social).

If it makes no difference to you the traffic types, niche and geo than just pick one (or both) and test them. Because the bottom line is that there is no definite answer. an offer that can work extremly well for will not necessarily work for someone else and vice versa.

Test!

Its always a good solution to run multiple offers via multiple networks.
This will give you a better view - and control - over eCPC and eCPM and it will also spread your financial risk among different partners to work.

If you want the convenience of working with one network, then pick one that offers weekly payments (like Addiliate.com)

You can never go wrong with some split testing. As a general rule, you should try to run the same offer with at least 2 different networks to see which one offers you a better ROI. For example, network A offers a higher payout but lower CR while network B offers a lower payout but higher CR. At the end of the day, network B might still beat network A in terms of ROI because of CR. Another important factor is your test budget. Like Simon mentioned, you might want to start with offers with a lower payouts if you have a small testing budget.

Ultimately, don't look for hard and fast rules, or rely entirely on someone else's experience! Test and find out!

Ok so first of all, you ask you AM for their top offers because :

A) you dont want to choose blindly and pick a dead/nonfunctional/abandomed offer
B) you want an offer that is backed by a well funded advertiser, with lots of cap
C) you want an offer that is still able to convert and generate large revenue

top offers in any network should fit all of these

When it comes to comparing offers from various networks, its impossible to tell if antivirus from network A is a better offer than a game offer from network B. Simply because it requires different creatives/LPs and most likely even traffic type. It really is up to you to select the VERTICAL and then find offers in it. If you hate porn for example, you wont start with adult offers. If you want to compare networks, you need to pick offers in the same vertical and then split test offers from various networks. So lets say antivirus offer from network A and antivirus from network B, this way youre not comparing apples and oranges

When asking your AM for help with offer selection, make sure you ask about what kinda traffic their top offers are getting. Diet offers are often on top of the list, especially when it comes to EPCs, but its mostly cloacked FB traffic - can you cloack FB? If not, such offers are useless for you.

I suggest you pick a vertical first and then get a few offers that match it and start testing. Running some campaigns will show you whether its the right path for you or not.

Good luck!

odigger.com and offervault.com can also be of great help in selecting the right offer (and networks) to work with

To take the conversation in a different direction: why are you planning to stick to only one offer?

Sticking to one vertical is a good idea. Sticking to one offer, however, opens up the significant chance that you just happen to pick a bad offer. It's effectively impossible to get to profit with a bad offer (one where the payout is not in line with the difficulty of getting conversions).

My usual advice to newer affiliates is to test a lot of offers in order to avoid that. Once you've found an offer that works, by all means, stick to it. But sticking to an offer from the start, particularly when you don't have experience picking them, may not be your best strategy.

100% agree with Caurmen. Test many, upscale few.

You can use Make Massive Tool for the offer comparison https://www.makemassive.com/ and get the best of the overall offers.

On top of that you will get all the affiliate landers, ads and traffic sources information to promote each offer.

PS: Try affiliate lander section where you can see what all good landers are promoting world wide https://www.makemassive.com/affiliate-lander/ and get an understanding what is latest going on.
