First of all, you’ll need to create a couple of accounts:
1. On the traffic network PopAds.net, so you can buy some traffic (human visitors)!
2. On the affiliate network Mobipium.com, so that you can get an offer url to
promote.
Apply to PopAds
1. Go to https://www.popads.net/register.html
2. Fill out the registration form.
For “Account Type” be sure to select “Advertiser”. The rest is self-explanatory.

3. You should receive an email shortly, that has a confirmation link in it.
Click on this link to verify your email.

(You can also log in via https://www.popads.net/users/login or https://www.popads.net/.)
If for any reason you don’t receive a confirmation email, or experience any other issue, please email PopAds support at support@popads.net.
Apply to Mobipium
1. Go to https://affiliates.mobipium.com/signup?origin=stmamy
(This is NOT an affiliate link, and STM does not receive any commissions when you sign up. Mobipium just wants to track clicks that are coming from this guide, so that they’d know I’ve sent you, and will know to approve your account and provide you with the support you’ll be needing to execute this tutorial.)
2. Fill out the registration form.
For “Activity” choose “Media Buyer”.
For “Traffic” choose “Both”.
For “Vertical” choose “Push Notifications”.
The rest of the fields are self-explanatory.

3. You should receive an email shortly, that has a confirmation link in it. Click on this link to verify your email.

4. You will then receive an email with additional questions:

Simply reply to the email with your answers to those questions, or add your affiliate manager (“AM” for short) on skype to chat more.
Here are suggested answers to those questions…
Q: Do you do your own Media Buying? Or do you work with Affiliates?
A: I’m doing my own media buying.
Q: What kind of verticals are you interested in?
A: I’m wanting to run your push notifications smartlink.
Q: Which are your TOP GEOs in terms of volume?
A: I’ll be buying pop traffic from PopAds to start. The top geos by volume on popads are IN, US, BR, IT, KR, TR, FR, MX, DE, JP.
(Just an FYI – and don’t include this as part of your answer – I got the “top geos in terms of volume” which means “countries with the highest traffic” from here:
https://www.popads.net/traffics/inventory
The 2-letter country codes above can be gotten from here:
https://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/ctycodes.htm
We affiliates like to use 2-letter codes because they’re more convenient than typing out whole country names.)
You can also let Mobipium know (either in the same email and/or in the skype conversation if you decide to hit them up that way) that you’re following STM’s guide on how to promote Mobipium’s push smartlink on PopAds, written by Vortex from STM, so they’ll know that you know what you’re doing and won’t be wasting their time with noob questions.
(If you signed up to Mobipium through our special link above, then they should already know that you came from this PDF – but a reminder can’t hurt!)
5. If you replied to the email with your answers to their questions, obviously give them time to get back to you – hopefully in the form of a “welcome” email that tells you you’ve been approved. If you don’t hear back in, say, a week, feel free to add them on skype to POLITELY inquire about the status of your application. (AMs are busy people – most of them are taking care of affiliates practically 24/7 except when they’re sleeping. So be understanding and don’t hound them – and know that the only reason they would even consider accepting someone with zero experience is because you’re following this tutorial.)
If you connected with your AM on skype and answered their questions that way, they should let you know on the spot whether you’re approved or not.
6. If for some reason you didn’t get an email containing an AM’s contact information, here are some Mobipium AMs you can contact via skype – again, please be polite and patient in waiting for a response:
Flor Savasi: live:flor.savasi
Guillermo Lorenzi: guillermo.lorenzi
Manuel Perez: live:mperezmazzini
7. Either via email or on skype, ask your AM for a list of CPMs by geos. CPM is the average revenue per every 1000 visitors sent to the offer url from a country. We only want to buy visitors from geos that have a reasonably high CPM.
(The accurate abbreviation should actually be “RPM” which stands for “Revenue Per Mille” or revenue per thousand visitors. “CPM” actually stands for “Cost Per Mille” which is something else. But many people in this industry are using them interchangeably. Not trying to be anal, but thought I’d point that out.)
Below is the chart I received from my AM. The one you receive will probably look different, as payouts and CPMs HAVE changed over time since I wrote this tutorial.

8. While chatting with your AM, ask them to set up your payment method with you so you can get paid later.
As soon as you’re approved by both PopAds and Mobipium (verify by logging into both), and have a list of geos and respective CPMs, you can move onto the next step in this tutorial.

Hey Amy,
It looks like Mobipium has greatly expanded their available traffic options. Should I select both 'Pops' and 'Pushs' when registering now, since 'Both' doesn't seem to be an available option anymore?
Second.
