How Not to Get Banned in Facebook

I was banned from Google a while a go and I don't want that happen again to my FB account.

Lately FB it's been slapping affiliates, closing their accounts without any warning.
After all these events, I stopped running traffic thru FB for a while because I don't want my account banned.

So, just to be ultra conservative with FB, What kind of offers now a days can you run safely in Facebook without the risk of been slapped?

Browser Games? Download Games? Dating? Quizzes? Mobiles?

Keep a good ratio of legit campaigns to shady one. like 10:1 if you want to be safe without overthinking it too much. Also get a good cloaker

ya like groomez says your approval disapproval ratio is a big factor......I stated this in another thread but make like 200-300 ads PAUSED that will never run to a site that FB loves.....like a fan page..... this keeps your ratio high and you will have far less issues.....

also....when offers go down they often getr redirected to email sub or a download by thy cpa network.....which when they go back and look at your account looks like your doing something against the TOS.....so after you are done with a camp clean it up....by redirecting it to a fan page or something....

Great tip! Exits any Fb Ads uplaoder lately accepted by FB?

Yeah what I mean by legit is something kosher like True.com, Mate1, 1800 Flowers etc shit like that.

Anything that wouldn't make you think twice about running it. As far as uploaders go, if you're asking about what's safe to run on FB, don't even bother with a program like that right now. It's against their TOS.

All approved APIs that allow for bulk submitting of ads will charge you 10% of the monthly spend

Hey guys, can we discuss some more on FB cloaking - I understand the principal of bait and switch - (I guess either switch out your offer url in Propser, or just upload the new page and overwrite the old, after approvals)....

But when we talk about 'cloaking' - are you using a set up to send the FB approvals team to one legit page, and everybody else to your 'real' offer? - I've seen one programme online that says it updates the individual ip's of FB approval members and sends them to a legit page of your choice - (and what are you using as a page to be in keeping with the ad - a blog post, a review on the offer, a more legit/acceptable offer???)

Is this something that can be custom made for you by a programmer, to keep it below FB's radar - or something that's readily available to those in the know.

Had some really good months just before and after Xmas on FB, doing some $500 profit days with 'acceptable' dating offers on FB... but images ctr faded, conversions dropped and click costs rose... and the pain of constant disapprovals made me give up for a while. But now I REALLY want to nail it on FB and just want to learn a few more of the shady tricks.

I've set up an account on Keybroker to use the ad uploader - at least overcome the pain of uploading ads for testing - but how does an uploader like this differ from some of the others out there - can they still be sent a C&D....

Long post, but fired up to get back into FB ads now as I've got too many eggs in one basket with my current offers/ads..... lol

From looking at my logs, it appears as though when fb reviewers come to my site there is no referrer. I've set up my cloaking to look for a certain string to be present in the referrer and if it's not there the visitor gets sent somewhere completely different. The string my script looks for in the referrer is "http://www.facebook.com/ajax/emu/end.php?eid=A", anything other than that wont see my landing page.

I cant say it's fool proof but I've not been caught on FB or Google using this technique and I've run some fairly shady offers for quite some time.

Even the app traffic gets routed through the same links - according to my logs anyway

One thing you should be very careful about is uploading the same disapproved ad over and over again. I've had two large accounts banned because of this. Now I always try to change something about the copy and image. But this probably ties in to the disapproved/approved ratio polarbacon was talking about. The accounts that got banned had a very low approval rate.

Someone can help me with a good cloaker, right now i'm using a redirection script based on ip of country but the problem is that if a fb reviewer enter from the germany for example it will see my real landingpage, not the right one for approving my ads. Any tips is usefull. Thanks.

If you use tracking202 you can set the "offer url" to whatever page you want the review team to see and then switch it out as soon as your ads are approved. This works just fine most of the time. Only rarely do they go back and check already approved ads, like if your ad gets X'ed a lot or if you turn on a shitload of traffic too quickly. You don't really need anything fancy, just have a few backup accounts =P
