This will be my first follow along. I've been doing mobile for a 2-3 months now but never had any real success with it.
But it's all about to change 
To add some spice to the soup I've deiced to use PoF as my traffic source. I haven't really seen any study's about it, so why not do one now?

I'll begin targeting as many ppl with an iPhone as possible.
Later i'll will begin split-testing with Andriod/Age/Intent/Drinking/Marital Status, if the volume is good.

Nice man I've run POF mobile before, its hugely overlooked. It's gotta be one of the easiest platforms to get a mobile campaign up and running. Good choice.

I know I spoke to Ben about mobile on POF a couple of months ago. Here's what he told me:
1) Almost no one was blocking mobile traffic in their ads, so the CPMs were basically about the same as non-mobile ads.
2) There is very, very little competition in the mobile space on POF.
3) The banners are the best size to go for because the 110x80s are really hard to see on a phone.
I never ended up testing mobile traffic on POF, but hopefully it helps (if you end up being allowed to target it)!

What i've done is created a couple of very simple banners. From experience i've seen that people are "blind" to highly animated banners with lot's of colors. Perhaps they've been exposed to so many over the years that they have learn to ignore them(?).

Good stuff so far. My housemate spends hours browsing POF from his iphone at work. I'd imagine POF mobile traffic must be plentiful.
