Hi @trafficoctopus! Welcome to STM!

Are you running auto insurance? Auto loans?

What have you experimented with?

How are you targeting?

What types of creatives have you tested? Angles/hooks?

Any stats to share please?

currently running auto insurance thru smart financial. running dynamic and putting 3 creatives in a ad group. targeting is broad.

Ah so you've only tested 3 creatives so far!

CTRs are too low and CPCs are too high. Try to test more creatives.

Hopefully other members will chime in with additional advice as well!

will do thank you for the feedback. how would you recommend setting up the ad groups for the creatives to optimize for better CTRs and CPCs ?

Your offer is solid - CVR is decent. Testing more creatives can get you there!

As for campaign structure - here are some posts that may help:

I would actually suggest for you to read ALL the threads in the Tiktok subforum and take notes - there aren't that many of them. Lots of gold in there!

thank you for the info! when setting up the ad groups to run in a specific day time range sometimes they don't ever start spending and are forced to shut it off. any idea why this might be happening ?

What budget is the campaign/adset set to?

What's your bidding model?

Amy

campaign budget 150. bidding model CBO.

Thanks!

Bidding model = cost cap / bid cap / lowest cap?

BTW what's the payout? In the $4-8 range probably?

And I gather this is a conversion campaign?

And when did the lack of traffic start?

Also: How long have you been running ads on this ad account?

My guess is that your budget may be too low. May be worth increasing the budget to see if it would help the campaign spend. But watch the campaign like a hawk to make sure there are no sudden/drastic surprises.

Then it's probably OK. (Whereas cost cap can restrict traffic.)

Then at $8.xx CPA one of the ads is already in profit? Nice!

You're very welcome! Hopefully members with more Tiktok experience (@cassshy @ScottyG etc.) will give you some suggestions as well.

To be safe, it may be a good idea to add a campaign rule to stop the campaign if it spends more than a certain amount without a conversion. The exact amount would of course depend on how many creatives you'll be adding to the campaign, and the CPA you're expecting to get.
