Direct Link or Preland to test offers
So I am pretty new to the Pop ads way of doing things and I'm wondering if I should be making / ripping a landing page for every offer I want to test. I am mainly interested in the Sweeps / Leadgen verticals and I don't get how some people are testing 20+ offers a day? I am having so much trouble cleaning up the code to some landers since I am new to it. I could spend 1+ hours trying to get a lander to work correctly and just to have the offer not convert. I'm wondering if my time would be better spent just testing tons of offers with direct linking and then only continuing with the offers that show some promise? I know direct linking doesn't convert as well but I didn't know if it was a good way to easily separate the shitty offers from the ones that show promise. Any tips are welcome, thanks!

I thought the same when I first started, i.e. direct-link to offers for quick testing, and then pick the ones that show promise and make landers for them.
Unfortunately, that doesn't always work - because some offers simply DON'T convert without landers. Or not well enough to show promise.
To be able to test a lot of offers in a shorter time:
1)Look at all the top offers across many networks (most networks email them to affiliates from time to time) to see what niches are popular, and what geos are popular for each niche.
2)Choose a niche that has lots of offers, and one or more languages that are spoken in as many of the popular geos (for that niche) as possible.
3)Prepare landers for that niche+language(s).
Also: Don't forget that landing pages don't go out of style or get fatigued very quickly.
So over time, you'll have a growing library of landers so you're not having to prepare landers all the time. (i.e. Your AM hits you up with "hey I have this new [niche] offer in [geo] and it's converting pretty well" and you're like "great I already have landers from running a similar offer before".)
It's just daunting when you're a newbie starting from scratch, especially if you don't have previous coding experience. But it definitely gets easier and easier - you'll get faster in fixing up landers + have a growing library.
To get landers in different languages, you can either just rip landers that are already in the target language, or get translations on Fiverr for cheap.
And if you need to hire someone to clean your landers, I know someone that does it for cheap - a few dollars per lander. That can save you massive amounts of time as well. If you're interested, PM me your skype ID (and update this thread to remind me to check PMs because I usually don't) and I'll hook you up.
Last tip: Doing tasks in "batch" mode can save time. Set aside a week to prepare a ton of landers - decide on a few niches + popular geos for each niche, rip a bunch of landers for each niche+language combination, outsource translations if necessary, and either fix them up yourself or outsource the editing. After that, just hit up different affiliate networks to ask them "do you have good offers for [your chosen niches] in [geos that speak the languages you've prepared landers for]?"
Hope that helps!
Amy

Well, everything is hard in the beginning. But once you have fixed a few dozen lander it becomes pretty easy. Also you then have an arsenal of landers that you can re-use many times.
There are a few offers that you could run without a lander (e.g HAKA). For most offers however using a lander makes a hugh difference. Running them without a lander would be big waste of money.
If you want to avoid all the work to clean landers you could hire somebody. Also twinaxe has provided several landers that you can use right away. Some of them are even multi-geo.

Thanks, it will help a lot to actually have plan when making or ripping landers and picking offers. Since im new it just feels like shooting in the dark and that there is no reason to the offers I pick and each one I do pick is just in a different language and geo and has a different 'prize' as the offer. Thanks for the help, also I sent you a PM

Hey Josh, not every pre-lander works in each GEO. You might find for example a specific design works great in the US, while it has a low CTR in Spain or so. I'd recommend you to find a few different designs which you can deploy to a variety of countries for testing. If you clean the English version of the landing page first, all that's required after will be to translate. Alternatively you can also write a short guide for cleaning the pre-lander or changing the language and hire a designer from e.g. Fiverr to do the time-intensive work for you, so you can focus on the traffic.
Good luck!

Some time ago, most of us would actually recommend this approach to mass test offers in a quick way and it used to work pretty well. But it's no longer the case unfortunately, at least not for all he offers out there.
As Amy mentioned, there are certain offer setups where a LP is absolutely crucial, since these offers do not really show much info on their signup pages, but with a proper LP they can convert like crazy. To put it simply, with a direct linking mass test, you will be able to find some promising offers, but a decent amount of good ones will fall through the net, simply because of the way they are setup... and this is not exactly what you want.

Added you on skype! Will put you in group chat with the lander cleaning service provider.
