How to find good offers and new trafficsources

As we all know the offer is the most important element in our funnel but it can also be very hard to find good offers.

That´s why I want to show you few ways that I personally use when I go hunting for offers and all these things can also be used to find new trafficsources

First option is very obvious, check STM!

Seriously, STM is not only for follow alongs or learning stuff.

One of its strength is to use the forum for networking.

There were times where basically the whole forum consisted only of members that were longtime/successful affiliates, trafficsources, affiliate networks and other affiliate related platforms.

In these times STM was mostly used for networking and exchanging information.

The focus shifted over time and we try to get as many beginners becoming successful as well but nonetheless STM is a great place for networking and you should definitely use it for your advantage.

Most obvious way is of course to check the Marketplace Section and the Affiliate Offers & Traffic Opportunities Section.

Although this is very obvious I can imagine that not all members use it to get the full potential, often they rather ask in their threads about recommendations instead of searching themselves.

Some good platforms and advertisers however don´t post much in the main sections so that you would miss some good opportunities when you don´t look active yourself.

To name just one example, this is how I found out about Haka, I just checked the vendors section, saw one of their threads that got me interested and messaged them.

In case you don´t know, this lead to THIS THREAD and THIS THREAD.

Then of course there´s also our Aff Network Application tool in case you just want to signup to different networks to check their offer inventory.

Additionally you can also use our Affiliates Contacts Directory to contact different platforms.

Another huge advantage of STM is that it´s not that much spammed as some of the other options I show you and that here are not many scammers, more about it later.

Ok, that´s all for STM, let´s move on to the next option Affiliate Conference and Affiliate Award websites.

On conference and award websites you also have the advantage that there are not that many spammer/scammer as on some of the other options.

Reason is pretty easy explained: Booths on conferences are expensive so chances are good that scammer platforms just can´t afford it and also that they don´t want to risk to get exposed in public.

For award websites you can also be pretty confident that there are only reliable platforms, otherwise they would be nominated for an award.

So just check out the affiliate conference and affiliate award websites to see who´s attending there or who´s nominated and check out the websites of the platforms you are interested in.

Now we will slowly move on to the options where you should use a bit more common sense because there you will also be confronted with more spammy and not that trustworthy people.

With using more common sense I mean to not blindly sign up to every platform you find there but better do some research first, ask the people about their networks website to check it out, ask for available offers/traffic, payment terms and so on.

Spoiler: It can be very annoying but it also can be worth it alot.

Before we dive into the deep abysses of our hunt for new platfoms we check out a platform that can be spammy as well but where you also can find some very reliable business partners - LinkedIn.

Yup, LinkedIn.

I can imagine that many here have an account there but I also can imagine that many don´t really use the account there.

To be honest, I also don´t use LinkedIn like a social network but I use it in two different ways to find new opportunities.

One way is to join groups related to media buying or affiliate marketing, this is also the more spammy way to use LinkedIn.

In these groups you can find lots of platforms pushing their offers and traffic and unluckily also lots of spammy posts without any value for you.

Nonetheless there are also many platforms with good offers.

Another way how I use LinkedIn is to search for specific advertisers I am interested in and message them there.

This is a good way when you already run an offer successful through a CPA network but would like to run it direct.

For example I was running an offer in multiple geos through 2 CPA networks.

When I saw that the offer is doing good and stable across all geos I went to the offer page to check for contacts.

I didn´t find any contacts there so I went to LinkedIn, searched for the offer and found someone working for it.

I sent a message telling that I am interested in running the offer directly, told a bit about my traffic and volume and left my Skype ID.

Just one day later the lady messaged me on Skype, we talked and agreeed to start working together and I am pushing the offer still today but with higher payouts than in the CPA networks and also better and faster payment terms.

The next platform I want to tell about is MyMediAds.

MyMediAds is a bit like classified ads where CPA networks and trafficsources can post what they have to offer.

You can find the popular platfoms there as well as rather unknown ones.

If you already know what yolu are looking for you can use the search function, otherwise you can also use the advance search function to filter the results a bit.

For example you can filter to only see trafficsources or to only see advertisers.

Unluckily nowadays there´s also quite some spam that you need to weed out.

In most ads you find contact details about the platforms so that you can message the people you´re interested in to check if they are a good match for you.

Apart from the ads you also find a companies directory on MyMediAds where you can find lots of platforms to check out.

Another platform where I find very good offer opportunities is Telegram.

I am in several Telegram affiliate groups and there is one thing that they all have in common: There´s almost no talk between affiliate and by far most of the messages are from advertisers, CPA networks and trafficproviders trying to push their stuff.

From the offerside it felt like it´s 90% Crypto.

On first sight it can seem to be waste of time because of all the spam but when you work your way through it you can find some very good platforms there as well.

Good is that you can message the people directly on Telegram to see if they have what you´re looking for.

Few examples where I found very good opportunities through Telegram:

- I saw a post from Traffic Company in one of the groups promoting their IVR offers.
Sounded good so I contacted Tess, singned up and started pushing their offers and today they are still some of my favorite offers.
- Some time ago I found a good dating offer in one of my CPA networks.
Then in a Telegram group I saw a dude telling that he´s the direct advertiser for this offer so just out of curiosity I messaged him to compare direct advertiser vs CPA network.
From the direct advertiser I receive double the payout that the CPA network pays (and the CPA network payout was already very good) and additionally I also have better payment terms from the direct advertiser.
- I was looking for offers in a specific vertical where not many offers are available so I posted a message in one of the Telegram groups.
One dude contacted me then and told me that he´s an advertiser with exactly what I was looking for.
We started working together and the offer is really converting very good, we also negotiated very good payouts for me and additionaly he could also provide me something very unique that isn´t available anywhere else.

The last station on my list is Facebook.

On Facebook there are also many affiliate groups and it´s pretty similar to the Telegram groups and the groups on LinkedIn: Much spam but also few very good opportunities.

Advantage on Facebook is that you can often check the peoples profiles directly on FB and that you can also see on the comments below the posts if they are trustworthy or not.

Ok, that´s all about the different platforms but before I end the post I´d like to tell few more general things.

As I already posted above, when you find unknown platforms it´s always good to use common sense.

Unluckily there are not only good guys out there but also scammers so better invest a little bit more time upfront than just starting to run everything you find.

With the tips above you not only find CPA networks but also offer owners/direct advertisers.

This can be an advantage and disadvantage at the same time.

A disadvantage because you often/mostly have more limited amount of offers to choose from when you work with a direct advertiser compared to a CPA network with a huge offer selection.

Payment terms can also be worse when you work direct and it also happens that their tracking is suboptimal.

When you run on more different platforms you also risk to get issues with reaching the payment threshold in all of them, then it´s easier to run only 1-2 bigger CPA networks.

On the other hand you can run offers that way without others involved in the chain so that it often leads to higher payouts.

As you can see from my example above it also happens that you have better payment terms when you run direct.

Often the offers you run with direct advertisers are also offers that you can find brokered in CPA networks as well but you can also find offers that are not being pushed by thousands of affiliates already what can lead to a better conversion rate.

When you work directly with advertisers it can also open the doors for what they allow and what not so that sometimes you can run more aggressive.

Similar about unknown trafficsorces.

You can find lots of total fails but you can also find unknown sources that provide pretty good traffic.

The advantage then is that they often are not that competitive = lower bids and better conversion rate.

Working with smaller platforms can also have the advantage that they have more time for you and can help you better to achieve your goals.

In the end there are many ways to find good offers and trafficsources you just need to explore them.

Once you get used to it you will also weed out the bad fruits much faster so that the chance to find good new business partners increases.

I hope you can use some of my tips to scale your campaigns and build successful new business partnerships.

Haha thanks but you meant @twinaxe?

We'll see what he can share, but this thread lists some ways to find offers:

Sure, here are some suggestions:

- You can check on Offervault if you find the offer there in more networks
- If the CPA networks you work with don´t have a specific offer just ask your AM, often they can get you the offer
- You can just message other networks asking if they have the offer
- You can also try to contact the advertiser itself to run the offer directly

One more way to find new trafficsources:

When you buy traffic through a DSP you sometimes can see from which sources they bring you the traffic.

This can bring you dozens of new sources, many of them you never heard of but you bought traffic there nonetheles through other platforms.

Then just check these sources and buy directly there.
