Facebook Going After Content Locking Network.....s?

Seems like FB is stepping it up lately....

They are now starting to sue a content locking network...........for allowing them to monitize spam traffic....

Curious how effective this will be.....but if this is the new model it could put a huge dent in the pocket of content locking networks it seems like....

Kind of a misleading post. I only see one network being sued in the article. Where in the article does it mention they are starting to sue content locking networks other then Adscend Media?

Get your facts straight.

ok...sorry the plural was so bothersome....

ya your right...they would never ever ever sue anyone other than Adscend....lol

I think you missing the point....if adscend is the first lamb to slaughter who's next?

People should start networks outside EU/US/CA/AU/NZ, for internet companies in US all it takes is a lost lawsuit and everything they got is gone...Copeac now Adscend, pretty sure others will follow. However im sure Adscend wont suffer much, because they never really allowed spamming on FB. FB sued Maxbounty last year also if I remember correctly, they still work fine to this day because they didnt encourage spamming FB.

Who's next? My guess would be a large majority of networks, content locking or not, since this industry is rife with fraud and shady affiliates it is a safe bet that many of these scammy facebook pages likely contained offers from networks such as Adscend to your top tier networks and just plug them into their own content locker.

Wonder if they had an internal team doing the "spamming" or if it was just affiliates.
