If you have an HK business you'll know its a pain in the butt to get a proper debit/credit card for business expenses. Most banks there, if they even open an account for you, provide ATM cards and don't seem to care about cards you can use online for business expenses.
Thankfully there is a solution, Amex, though it can be a bit annoying to get approved by them as well. Like most financial things there's red tape, compliance, KYC etc. so it can be a bit tough for an affiliate running a personal services company.
I'm posting this as my Amex rep in HK is trying to drum up new business (lol, even Amex is suffering from Covid?) and reached out to me about referring people.
I don't usually care about this sort of thing but apparently they have updated their business program and are now offering more rewards + allowing businesses to onboard who have a business registration of at least 1 year (i.e. incorporated for at least 1 year).
I went through a lot of hassle to get better banking and importantly a damn card I can use online with direct business funds so that accounting wasn't such a mess -- so to me this could be quite valuable to a lot of you. A requirement of merely existing for 1 year is amongst the nicest you'll ever get lol. Also, there is no need to meet in person, for obvious reasons this would be a non-starter.

Also, their cards are in HKD, though HKD>USD exchange is pinned and reliable. If you have high enough turnover (last I checked, 1 M USD), you can get a USD card issued as well.
