Perfect timing for me, I went into lockdown recently, so I came back to look at this site and did the $1 tutorial the other day.

As I have just dabbled around in the past I’ll be largely quiet.

I should ask though: How long will it take for this tutorial to finish being posted (is it already written up)?

This is to gauge if I should go through the current version or this new one

I would definitely advise NOT to wait for this to be finished - although it will involve more networks in the examples and additional tips on testing etc., the basics remain the same as the current version. Please also read all of @twinaxe's guides and case studies. Between all those you'll already have all the knowledge you have to start testing (and innovating based on).

Do you think there are still money in pops in 2021?

Do you think i can benefit learning from the 2019 tutorial right now or i will be better off waiting for this one to be completed?

There are definitely still people making money in pop! Although it's not as easy to make huge money here as it was a few years back (but then you could say the same about a few other traffic types).

Here are a couple of OTHER reasons why going through the 40-day tutorial could be a good choice for you:

-It allows you to learn fundamentals for cheap: What CPA affiliate offers are about, how to using trackers, how to host/rip/mod/optimize landing pages, considerations that go into optimizing affiliate campaigns, etc. These are basic things every beginner affiliate will need to learn, and since pop is the cheapest traffic there is, the 40-day tutorial will allow you to learn the ropes for cheap.

-Push traffic is still hot this year (read the "What's Working" report if you haven't), and it's similar to pop traffic. Only, pop traffic requires a smaller test budget because you're mainly testing offers and landers, whereas in push you're testing push ads, offers and landers (i.e. one more variable to test). So it can be cheaper to learn pop first using the 40-day tutorial, then "graduate" to running push traffic - the only extra thing to test, that isn't covered in the tutorial, are push ads - which you'll be able to figure out on your own equipped with all the fundamentals.

And there's no reason to wait. Please feel free to start with the older version of the tutorial, but when you get to the lesson on infrastructure (hosting/CDN) please use the lesson from the 2021 version. The 2021 version also contains new affiliate networks you can sign up to if you wish. Then when I finish the 2021 version you can look over it to gleam the "new" stuff that wasn't in the older version.

Hi @vortex the link "Day 10: a)Introduction to Testing & Optimization (Voluum)" is actually linked to another lesson on setting up PopAds and Propeller in Voluum FYI!
Also thanks for this great step by step guide. I'm currently using both the 2019 & 2020/2021 version and swapping between lessons when necessary.

Actually the link is correct. It points to a page with the right title. I think that what @luciddream is pointing out is that the content of the page does not match the title. It looks like a modified version of day 3-8, and is very different from Day 10 in FunnelFlux / Binom sections.

There's no lesson for day 4. There are lessons for days 3 to 8 (3-8) because I feel it would take several days to complete. Hope that helps!
