Look Inside my Follow-Along I am Doing it in a Very Disciplined Way

Its exactly 11 days today after I subscribed to STM. Last 11 days I kept reading the forum, but its a sea of information causing information overload sometimes. And there is shiny object syndrome.

Anyway, in the meantime I started working on applying for networks.

Applied for:

Mobidea - Accepted. Deposited $250 for their Push network and they gave me some bonus.
Monetizer - Accepted
PropellerAds - Accepted. I discovered I have a PropellerAds publisher account for my website since last 2-years, and interesting thing is, PropellerAds approached me and opened the A/c.
SHINEz - Accepted. More later about this. I need help here.
ClickDealer - Accepted after 2/3 emails with their Sr. AM Joel. Thanks Joel if you are here and read this.
Gotzha - Not yet. Submitted application 2 days back.
PopAds - Accepted.

While reading Amy's 40-Days Tutorial, I have applied all them as per the Binom Tutorial.

About SHINEz. I came to know from @Todor 's this post: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...t-Monetization
Accepted. Thank you SHINEZ Team. They also integrated their Facebook Stuffs and I am about to run my first campaign, but before that I need some help here from experts like Todor to know about audience, targeting etc.

Now my next job is to setup Binom on Google Cloud Platform, and setup the Google CDN also. Is it a good idea to run it on Google Cloud? Or need a VPS? My own wordpress site runs on Google Cloud and I made it very fast using dual layer of CDN, one from Google itself and another from Cloudflare.

In Mobidea Push, I tried running a Smartlink on their network with generic message and icon according to @mrbraun 's this post: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...h-Push-traffic
But results are dismal or very negative. My first failure here and I am very exited, because more failure and more close to success.

Tomorrow I shall describe what I do with Binom and Goole Cloud Platform.

Thank you,
Bulan.

Progress: Day 2.

Configured a NGINX Bitnami Server on Google Cloud Platform. Manually installed the Binom server with a 30-day trial. But unable to log-in to Binom dashboard. Tried super-hard with Binom's support Dmitry. We both worked around hours, but not succeeded. Again ditched the server, and took a fresh server. Same thing happened.

So finally took a Voluum entry-level plan for $62.

As per Amy's suggestion, wrote to Clickdealer AM for suggesting some well-converting offer for:

-1/2-click
-Mainstream
-Tier 3/4 geo

Waiting for his reply.

Selected some offers accordingly from Mobidea also.

Gotzha - not yet approved.

That's all for today. Until I get some offer from Clickdealer, rest of the day will be mostly spent on learning and reading.

Waited few days, but my Clickdealer AM did not reply with any best offer idea. So choosing offer manually and applying.

Applying status is still 'Pending'

Gotzha -> no information received till now whether approved or rejected.

Propellerads - Paypal issue. Unable to fund till now.

Connected 'Voluum' 'Clickdealer' 'Mobidea', Postback URL etc.

Testing some articles from SHINEz. They look very promising overall. The important thing is it is completely Whitehat, and Facebook approved some of my Camps, although they failed till now. I will continue to do more work here.

Allocated a total budget of $5000 to spend over next few months in this testing phase.

This includes everything from STM membership to paid software. But I guess, I will spend most of the money to buy traffic. I made a spreadsheet to record all expenses.

Last two days, I ran an offer from Mobidea, via Propeller Push traffic, I just made a little change to chose types of traffic, instead Pop, I chose Push. Created 3 Push creatives (using Canva) and wrote different headlines, but they failed. Below is a result:

Yesterday my Clickdealer AM sent me some top-performing offers in tier 2/3/4 countries. I thank my AM very much for the list. He is very helpful and gives me (a newbie in traditional aff. mktg.) time from his busy schedule. I have already started working on his list.

Wanted to stick to very few networks in this learning phase. My intention is to master one or two traffic source and one or two offer network first. So I chose Propeller Ads and Facebook Ads as traffic source, and Clickdealer and Maxbounty aff. network. Applied to Maxbounty and accepted reasonably quickly.

Facebook Policy is very strict, and for the time being, I am experimenting with SHINEz articles with Facebook and will stick to it.

In SHINEz, I ran 3 FB camps, all failed and I paused them. Will start more camps in next couple of days. The SHINEz AM is very very helpful. He replies to even very silly questions with detailed answers and screenshots.

More later.

Thanks

Hey man, good luck with your journey, i just wanted to ask, if you faced any problems with facebook and Voluum as a trakcing platform.

Last time i tried to switch my tracking to Voluum I got warned by Facebook about the links. i also had custom domain set, so that's that.

Best regards,
Adrian

Thank you very much for the helping information Adrian. For the time being I will not include Facebook into the equation.

Facing a peculiar Clickdealer email issue, so that I can't launch any Clickdealer offer.

Hi @bulansarkar! Sorry for having missed your thread until now!

Thanks for taking action so soon after joining! This is rare - you should be proud of yourself. It's hard to get past reading and feeling overwhelmed, onto the stage of taking action.

Direct-linking to 1/2 click offers is not likely to be profitable anymore. It's only a good exercise for newbies because it's easy to set up.

Please don't run more than 2 of these offers - get a bit of practice setting them up, hopefully make your first conversion, then move onto the lessons on landing pages.

If spent wisely, this budget should be enough to see initial success (although there's never guarantees of course).

It would appear that Mobidea doesn't have that many offers anymore. Clickdealer and Maxbounty have lots - you're covered!

But how much did you spend on traffic? I see $1.50 in your screenshot. That can't be right...? Way too little spend to conclude anything if that was indeed how much you spent.

Regarding choosing push over pop: It may be cheaper and easier to test on pop FIRST, split-test to identify a good offer+lander, then take them to push and just test ads. That way you lock down 2 out of 3 variables first.

In SHINEz, I ran 3 FB camps
Very interesting - will learn from your follow-along. I haven't tried that method.

Only your Clickdealer AM would be able to help you with that - keep following up persistently but politely and you'll receive an answer I'm sure.

What kinds of creatives? Just wondering if you really need to wait for these instead of just running the offer.

Amy
