Easy way to run offers with Push-traffic
Hello, dear STMers!
Today I want to tell you about the way how you can run any type of offers with Push notifications. I must to admit that this option can be unprofitable for someone, so I always recommend to test first with low budget. But it works, and you can have a good profit, but the main reason for me why I use it - I 99% won't have problems with moderation.
So the things are very easy - I run creatives "You have a message". Example:

So my push looks like this one. What we have?
1) Icon with envelope (it can be also some graphic from messengers, I used WhatsApp/FB/Viber or some not famous apps).
2) Image is the same with icon. Just has more size.
3) Title:
- You have a message!
- You have (3) messages!
- (1) urgent message!
- A message from the system!
- A message from Android!
- FB sent you a message!
4) Text:
- Click to read it now!
- Click and check!
- Important information. Read it now!
- Urgent message! Read it now!
So as you can see, in this type of Push we ask users to click and read an "important" message
And a big % of them will click! Depends on your creative. I recommend to test at least 3-5 variations.
As for LPs, I use just regular LPs that I use together with other creatives.
Pros:
1) You won't have problems with moderation. I'm already tired of 10000 attempts to approve creatives, which sources don't allow to use. So it was a way for me to run without stress.
2) You can run any vertical: Pins, Sweeps, Dating, Nutra, Crypto. But I would recommend to use it for campaigns where you can't approve your creatives. For me it's AV and Sweeps (instead of "You have a virus" or "You've won iPhone XS").
3) The CTR is very good with this type of creatives, so you can set lower CPC or get more clicks with CPM
4) In some GEOs it's the only one way for me - to use these ones or to pay $0.20+ per click with regular creatives.
5) It's stable. These creatives can be running for months.
6) Easy to create. Just find images in Google and write a simple text.
7) You can use it for any GEOs. Just translate throw Google.
Cons:
1) Don't forget to check your offer and LP. If they are aggressive, this type of creatives will not help you.
2) It doesn't work in some GEOs for me. So always test.
3) Your CR will be lower than with "regular" creatives. Sometimes much lower. But there I can set lower (much lower) bid. So I will compensate.
High bid + aggressive creative => High CR
Low bid + "message" creative => Low CR
But your ROI can be the same.
Here are some more examples:

Some results:

P.S. You can also use these creatives for Smartlinks! For example, for Monetizer. Just choose GEOs (I usually run "TOP Free" counties with extra low bids ($0.0001-0.001)) and some GEOs have good profit! You even don't need to setup a lander or tracker. You can see all data in Monetizer.
Good luck

Will not work on all traffic sources.
I agree about the images but on Propeller for example your creative can get rejected because of too generic text.

Yea, after they updated their rules recently, they started rejecting a lot of the creatives that were doing good before, including those
“Empty” ,“vague” or “meaningless” messages, that capture the attention and are not relevant to the offer, are prohibited: “You have one message”, “1 message for you”, “From Maria: Hello, look what I found ..”, etc. violation of rules on text.
Before my AM would tell me that I should make my creatives even more aggressive, now nothing gets in

Of course, there are some sources where it doesn’t work or work 50/50. In Propeller it works 50/50, but still. If I run AV offer I would try to approve this, instead of “You have 1000 viruses”.

Nice! Same idea as using "generic banners" on display traffic back in the day.

Yeah, can be problematic now with Propeller, but other sources should be fine. Thanks for the share!

Guys...anyone knows where to buy CPM with Push? This trick doesn't work in PropellerAds anymore... They have very strict policy.
In other sources like zeropark or Mobidea there is only CPC...and ads like this can burn some money before you can make bid very low...
I tried actually smth different: icon of messenger, title: "[company name] send you a new message" and txt: "You have 1h to receive [somegift]".

Most sources works with CPC these days. But another one beside Propeller with CPM is Adsterra.

Yes, these creatives also work good! But not sources allow to use it.

It seems like Megapush have more consistent traffic than propeller, based on screenshot and experience also. anyone know if this is the case? if there is more opportunity on mega

Hi there! Are you trying push-notifications from EvaDav? There you can test your ad campaigns for as little as $100. The lowest CPC on the market!
Good luck!

Megapush has more traffic yes, or let's just say I personally was able to get more clicks from them for a single campaign. Propeller has nice volumes too though, it's just more problematic to get a lot of clicks with a single campaign (or low amount of them), could have something to do with the way they distribute the traffic.

I just signed up. They don't seem to have much targeting options for optimization, if any at all. So i guess the plan is strive for cheap clicks, mass test multiple offers on low budget and exit at the first sign of offer fatigue?

Well, like 1 week ago there were even less options
Now they at least added optimization by feed source ID's.
But yes, basically you can optimise only feeds, their IDs and carriers, that's it mostly.
You need to find the right balance between the bid and the volume.
What may work good is taking a winning campaign from another source and use Mega for scaling as they got that huge volume.
