Does anyone have any good advice for dealing with cashflow when you are still starting out?
I have applied for a lot of credit cards but they all turned me down for various reasons (I'm 20, live with my parents, and have no credit history). However, today I was approved for a capital one credit card but the spending limit is only $300 so I won't solve the problem with that by any means - I can't even put one deposit in trafficvance with that.
I have a pretty limited supply of money(roughly $1800) and the majority of it is tied up in pending payments. I've decided to I'm going to run all future campaigns, atleast for a while, on EWA.
It's really starting to get to me. I'm just now starting to get PPV after losing a lot of money, and now I had to stop running a profitable campaign 11 days ago because I ran out of money. I won't get most of the money back until the 15th of next month and the network isn't willing to help me out.
To be honest I don't really know what kind of advice I'm asking for. I just want to know if there is something obvious I'm missing before I go and pawn off a bunch of guitar equipment.
Thanks for your help guys.
well first thing you could do is ask the network for an early payment....tell them you had to pause a good camp due to cash flow......some will wire you the money for a small fee
Yep most networks will try to accomodation your cashflow problems. Let them know that you need to get paid more frequently, if they say "sorry bra, you staying on net 30", then you say "sorry bra, I taking my monies else where".
Also ask your parents for a little help, and reward them with nice interest
.
Don't spread yourself too thin with just EWA. Some other networks that pay weekly are MaxBounty, PKM, and Clickbank (after 2 paper checks). Just make sure you get on direct deposit - paper checks are soooo oldschool
Hahaha that's about how the conversation went. I don't want to badmouth C2M but if you know you are problems with cashflow don't bother running anything with them.
I asked my AM at EWA to try and get the offer I was running(no word on how that is going though).
I'll apply to MaxBounty and PKM, thanks for the suggestion.
Ads4dough is good. They helped me out with cash flow problems.
Ditto to what leber said.
A4D is down to help out if you're running with us and having cash-flow issues.
Jason (Smaxor) has gone as far as putting affiliates on daily wires to solve cash-flow problems.
Dude... try and get your friends/family involved if you're short on cash but have hit a profitable campaign - just make sure they get a little icing on the cake as Mr Green says.
By the way - daily payments are bad ass.
I wouldn't get family and friends involved unless you absolutely had to.
Remember just because its "profitable" until you see cash and hand you're still taking a risk.
With that said I went from $1000 limit to $50k limit on 1 credit card in 6 months you can to. Just run up your limit then make sure you get paid, networks like Ads4Dough can hook up every 2 days if you're doing volume. Keep running your cad up and pay it off. Call by phone for same day payment. After you do this 2 or 3 times call in and ask for limit increase. Do this by phone, online won't work as well. Guy will ask you bunch of questions tell him what he wants to hear aka i make 100 grand now give me 20k limit. Just keep doing this rinse and repeat and ask for a new limit increase every few weeks to a month and before you know it you have a big credit line.
i heard PKM has had a lot of issues with paying affiliates.
Man sounds like in US they are dieing to hand over credit cards with big limits.
I managed to get a $8,000 USD credit card from my NZ bank after huge dramas, a tonne of evidence provided by me, using my parents as guarantors, I also had high 6 figures in my bank account there.
When I went travelling in Central America 3 years, some fucker copied my credit card at an atm. That got me thinking maybe I should start travelling with a smaller card like $500 and use it as a debit card. So I strolled into my bank and asked for a $500 credit card.
They said they needed to do background checks, asked for financial reports from my accounts, the works! They didn't care that I had a $8,000 USD CC at their bank already, or that I had a load of money in my accounts there already. I ended up saying fuck it because they wanted me to send 5 documents from different people.
Sorry I got a little off topic...
US win for credit cards.
Did you get an NZ credit card with USD funds on it? That would be nice, dodging the conversion fees and all.
I got a $3,000 limit card from BNZ to start off - it was quite funny actually, usually it takes up to 48 hrs or so to get a limit approved and sent back to the banker, but they approved it in a few minutes while I was sitting there talking and reading a form. I hadn't even signed anything yet. Am looking forward to significant cashflow letting me jump to Visa Gold or Platinum in many months time. Although these US cards with ridiculous benefits would be nicer. Wtf is up with the cash rebates and shit anyway, send some of that goodness NZ's way.
Hey Zeno,
No the card I have is just a $10,000 NZD Platinum card, which basically gives you 1% cash back, insurance and international concierge perks. This week I was meant to hand my financial statement to get the $50,000 limit, but that is just under the same card, no extra benefits at all...I think I'm going to paint my card black.
I should really get on to setting up a US bank account...
good too live in germany..got 20k 1% cashback cc with a simple phone call..but i have good history so it was'nt a problem
You should try and get a amex platinum card or a card from mbna, they're always good for handing out cards.
+1 for A4D. Got many "early" payments from them.
