List Building (hot trend - different traffic sources)

Yoooo whaddup,

Thought I'd share the progress of my first list building campaign EVER. Never did any emailing before but I somehow feel that I need to get out of my damn comfort zone.

Topic: Harry Potter
Idea: getting ppl to give me their email addresses so I can send them awesome offers to fill out (more rev per user using my own path later).
Traffic sources: PPV, FB, Twitter

The landingpage

Step 1)
Created my landingpage: *clickety click*
Yes I know it looks like crap but ugly usually sells. When poppin the lp looks ok imo. Also I tried to find an angle that's unusual and somehow bizarre. Not sure if I got it right.

Step 2)
Created the optin page by using aweber: optin page

Step 3)
Created a "success page" when ppl successfully entered their email adresses: success page

Traffic Sources

PPV (still running with the first batch of targets - no target stopped yet):
Impressions: 243
Clicks: 12
CTR: 4.94%
Targeting: Harry Potter related targets

Twitter:
Bought a 20k tweet off fiverr.com (not delivered yet).

FB:

Not approved yet.
Starting with CPC to see how good the CTR is. If CPC is good -> CPM for 5c clicks. I created more ads for different age groups as well.

Stats
12 clicks in total. 0 leads so far.

Feedback appreciated, bros!

you should put an offer (or a few) on the confirmation page to try and recoup some costs right away. that way you have a chance at some $ even if they don't confirm

First feedback, I dont know how valuable a list is of people under 14 year olds I know your testing out other age groups. I would suggest bumping the minimum to at least 18 or higher. Just my two cents!

Thats a good idea! Will implement it asap.

Not sure about it either. Test, test, test! I have a feeling that 14 year olds tend to enter their mobile numbers more likely than 20 year olds. But we'll see!

You spelled her name wrong - was about to NOT post that but then I realized your audience might lost trust if you spell it wrong. It's Hermione

The 2nd picture looks good (bloated head cartoons.)
Great headline/angle.

Good luck.

Why you don't push the email submit page first instad of the yes/no page? That would make sense if the email submit wasn't yours, but since it is yours, is there a need to generate a previous click with the yes/no page? I'm just asking because I'm new to this technique and want to learn. Thanks!

Did you get those ads approved on FB?

Most of them were disapproved, only 1 got approved for like 5 minutes. I dropped the campaign because I was investing my time optimizing and scaling my other camps.
