Just 5? Damn.

CPVLab, Photoshop CS5, Dreamweaver CS4, Google Apps for Business, MediArachnid

It was hard to pick just five though. I use lots of shit on a daily basis.

- Photoshop
- Dreamweaver
- Firefox/Chrome/IE/Opera (for testing, use FF primarily myself)
- SmartFTP
- Affiliate Networks & whatever traffic source I happen to be using at the time

it's all you need!

(I make all my own tracking scripts so no use for prosper CPVLab....)

You're slipping, man.

He asked for tools that make life easier. The fetish porn folders and the flying toaster screensavers make life better.

Dissecting offer landing pages, I'd guess. I used to use that to track redirect info and see pixels etc. You can do some wonky shit with firebug.

I use firebug to align my divs in PPV landers (like a countdown script line, or geo script, over an all-image-lander), dunno about Sir Mr Green?
Also, another tool I use is browserlab.adobe.com to check what my lander looks like on IE 6, 7, 8, etc

My TOP tool ever:

Notepad++

I would die without it. I have it open at ALL times. Even more than Firefox!

Awesome for quick page edits and taking notes.

For the heavy programming I use NetBeans generally.

I really like it because you can edit naked on the server. It's a text-editor + FTP in one.

Sticking with the design theme since I definitely spend more time building landing pages than anything else:
1. photoshop
2. notepad 2
3. filezilla
4. firebug for sure (I can't design without it. I don't think Chome's inspect element or firebug for anything other than Firefox comes close. Also great for inspecting the competitions pages for iframes and tracing back where the offers are coming from etc)
5. wordpress (really been digging the Genesis framework)
6. 202
7. google external keyword tool
8. alexa

I forgot a major one instapaper.com

I am constantly finding stuff I want to read later in the day. Instapaper is perfect for saving stuff on the fly.

07-14-2011 03:33 PM #31 z6marketing (Member)

Five most useful things for an affiliate:

Paper (for printing out fake money so you can take pictures holding your "stacks" for facebook. eGangsta here I come!)
Glue (for gluing your "stacks" together. Or for huffing. If that's your thing.)
Baseball cap (for wearing sideways in said facebook photos)
Empty bottle of Voss water (you can fill this with tap water. You just want people to think you drink Voss. To quote Ryan Eagle, Voss's for the Bosses.)
Pornography (because, honestly, nobody does any work in this industry anyway, and this is 90% of how you will spend your day.)

Now get out there and hustle!

@greentrack

Apart from FBSPY / POF Spy I do the spying manually. Overplay FTW!
