CPVLab - redirecting specified BANNER to specified LP.

Hello mates,

Please help me with following problem:

I'm running few banners on adult dating and I want to redirect few banners on specified landing pages. Is there any posibility to make this work?

Thank you.

I also use CPVLAB and personally I have been making a campaign per angle. I don't think there is an easier way.

CPV Lab has the Redirect Profiles section, though I am not sure if this lets you create rules for specific subids/tokens.

OP, go to Settings > Redirect Profiles, then choose the camp you want to set up the redirect for.

- Type in a name for this redirect rule, leave all the option as default. Then, from the first dropdown menu in the Redirect Conditions section, select "AD TOKEN" or "EXTRA TOKEN 1", this will depend on which token your camp is using for the banners.

- In the input box next to the dropdown, you gotta input the name of your banner (ie: banner1) exactly as you are passing it from your traffic source link.

- Look to the right, in the "THEN - Select Redirect Destination", choose the landing page you want the user to go when coming from this banner (note: the landing page must be active on your camp, it may have the share % set to 0, though).

You can leave the "Redirect to Offer" option as default, it will rotate your offers, or you can choose a specific offer (again, the offer should be active, with a share % = 0 if you want).

Save and test!

I hope that helps.

Blackemil, didn't you get the latest update for CPVlab that was out 2 or 3 months back? Version v2.17

Go to: http://cpvlab.com/users/ and login with the email and pass that was sent to you when you bought your license.

Bear in mind that if you bought it a year ago, you may need to pay for the annual updates (is about $150 I guess).

Does this really works for you guys?

I have a campaign where I need to use these redirects (I did not use redirect profiles for a while), but it ignores all my rules.

I setup a simple rule for test, that should redirect me to specific offer if I'm from specific country, but it just got ignored and it simply rotates all the LP's based on % share.

Any ideas what can cause the problem?

Do you have country data being looked up successfully in your normal stats?

This would certainly happen if you didn't have a GeoIP database installed correctly.

Can't think of any other simple problems that would cause this...

Sure, the country is showing up correctly. But the same happens with any other redirect settings. I setup an ID to the offer and setup evenly split tests - the redirect rule should sit above these, isn't it?

I have no other idea too - probably I will have to do a clean install, I have about 1 year data in it with few millions of clicks.

I'm not sure, I don't use CPV Lab so I'm not so familiar with its interface.

Sure, not probs - I will give it a try - probably a clean install will be better than an upgrade which I did last time.

Just have to find a good time, so I can pause all my running campaigns.
