Redirect Domain and Prosper Domain on Same Server?

Hey guys,
I have both domains on the same server, my speed using pingdom tools is - redirect (0.4-0.5s), and tracking (0.5s). Is this good?

If not, i wonder whats the best way to setup the redirect and tracking domains. Do you guys have your redirect domain and prosper/cpv domains on the same server? Or do you guys use the same domain for both, and just subdomains/directories for redirects?

Do you guys also use different IP address for the redirects and tracking domains?

Any other related advice would help,

love to hear from you guys,
Henry

I run all my tracking off a diff domain.....and that is what I would suggest just because you don't want people poking around your tracker domain....if at all possible....

go buy a block of generic domains with a name for each vertical.....ie hot-dates.info, lots-of-cool-free-shit.com......you wont need more than 5 -10

then run your traffic to those....

and ya .5 is fine.....

Hey Dan,
thanks for the reply. Are your tracking and redirect domains on the same server (but different Ip i guess)? or are they on different hosting?

same server.....

some are on diff ips....some are not

The only thing else I really do is I run a separate namserver for my tracker vs my lp domains.....

It really all depends on what your plans are.....the more shadier shit requires more degrees of separation.....if you plan to set a goal to see how many c+d's you can get in the shortest period of time.....then ya.....I would break everything apart into small hard to trace little pieces.......

I'm showing my noobness but what the hell.....what is a redirect domain and why is it different/separate from your tracking domain which I assume is prosper202?

When running cpc, cpm or ppv, don't you direct everything through 202 which redirects to the offer?
