Alright Bros. [FB] + [Credit Report] = RIP IT APART FOR ME

Alright bros,

so... i launched my credit report campaign on facebook.

Offer - FreeCreditReport.com

Here are my top 3 ads.

CTR of 0.125%

CTR of 0.156%

CTR of 0.125

Each of the ads have gotten 50+ clicks.

With 0 leads!!!

I was targetting broad. (Female 45-60) (EXACT Age)

I was trying to get creative...

but obviously.. they generated "curiousity" clicks instead of "leady" clicks.

It's hard to promote such an offer on facebook.

anyone has any opinions?

You said it yourself unfortunately. If you are direct linking your not gonna get results. make a landing page tying in your ad with the story and you might get better results

Yeah I'm very surprised too, they are normally tight about celebs.

You definitely need a lander to make this work. Bridge the gap between the credit report offer and Nicolas Cage.

Deff agree you need a lander. Remember users dont read the description, they just see image and title. So maybe a lander featuring a few broke celebs and fake credit scores for them then "whats your score" link to offer might work.

Also, curiousity clicks can still work, becasue there will always be a small percent of people who do sign up. The key is to get you CPCs low enough. Its always a balance between CTR and CR, find that balance and profit!

I like your angle of promoting the offer. Agree with everyone too that you will need a lander. Do not forget that you must include in the lander that why the celeb broke, and urge them to take actions.

Always be careful that, owing to the reason that the offer is about credit report, it is always good to include some trustable images and make your landing page legit so to pump confidence and trust to people. This is the point that you should never leave out because credit report offers are always tie with trust and confidence for a good CR.

Good luck brother and keep us posted!
