OMF Facebook...... (22)

06-03-2011 03:36 AM #1 michaelza (Member)
OMF Facebook......

I was running 2 ads for the 1 offer, and uploaded another 31 ads to it.

Then Facebook decline all of those ads and then decline my 2 ads that were running as well....

What should I do now?

Whoever is reviewing ads at 5:30 AM every single fucking time has been a fucking ass.....

change your ads a little bit. Cloak it to another site or something. What's the reason?

06-03-2011 03:39 AM #3 michaelza (Member)

I don't know the reason...

I had my 2 ads that were approved, manually disapproved as well... I mean WTF

I was running a gaming offer email submit...

Welcome to FB .

Persistence wins on FB. Upload them again.

Upload again. Master the "tab method" you'll be cranking out those 31 ads again in like 5 min

06-03-2011 03:46 AM #6 michaelza (Member)

Do you think I should upload them again now or maybe wait a few more hours ?

I've been decline 4 days in a row during this time. It's always been around 5:30ish here that whoever it is keep declining me....

Should I also change the ad a little bit?

Another thing, I was running them to a landing page with my affiliate URL, but then thought it would be better to use direct linking, so I direct linked to the offer instead...

do you guys keep resubmitting the same rejected ads or slightly change them when resubmitting. i had read you can get account shut down if keep resubmitting exact same denied ads

was the 31 ads on the same campaign as the two?

hmmm I have never heard of this happening as the review process is extremely subjective and they know this. I normally try re submitting the same ads 2-3 times. If they keep getting denied then I will change up the ads to get them approved.

It was half of the one campaign and half off a new similar offer.

I've had this happen change the name of the image files too. I've done just that and it solved the problem for me.. I had 10 ads all the same with different images, all got approved.. then I submitted a few more with new images that all got denied and 1 was the same image and file name as an already approved ad, and they deactivated that approved ad along with disapproving all the new ones.. the other 9 original were left alone.. Usually when your ad is approved you're good to go I think they're starting to crack down a little bit. Give it a shot and let us know how it works for you.

Don't make new ads in a working campaign. Don't use "create a similiar ad" if the ad you're trying to clone is already active. Don't feed bears. Do submit ads at different times if you think you're getting rejected at a certain time.

If you must make changes, do so BEFORE ads/campaign goes live or make a new campaign for it. If you're getting a lot of disapprovals, put up a few campaigns that are 100% likely to get through for the next few days.

Have you submitted any other ads besides those ads? Maybe try submitting some ads for charity and get them approved so your ratio doesn't go bad.

@Michael are you profitable with FB yet?

If you can afford to, get an uploader, your time is better spent
thinking up ideas and making sure they get executed, not clicking
buttons.

Check out the discounts section, there's a good submitter in there.

^^ This. I took 1-2 hours to gather images, resize, add blur, border and all sort of funny stuffs but 2 mins to upload all of the campaigns with the tool. Without it, I would have taken an additional 1-2 hours to upload 50-100 campaigns and probably have given up on facebook with all the random disapprovals of ads.

Heh, I learned the hard way to never touch an ad in any shape or form if it is converting. If I want to test changes, I will start a completely new ad/campaign. The same goes for duplicating ads.

And yes, I can confirm that ads can be denied at certain times and approved at other times since different sets of eyes are reviewing them.

I've had ads retroactively unapproved before. If the campaign was profitable....start a new campaign and load it again. lol It works.

@epicskillz I will definitely check out the paid uploaders once I have earned some money. Uploaded another two dozen ads or so today... all of them got rejected as I forgot that the outbound IP was geo-targeted. But I've been resubmitting these ads twice in the same time period and it still getting rejected. Whats worse, is that whoever is doing the reviewing today, isn't even going on the landing page to check when I keep resubmitting.

And they seem to have somehow blocked Ad Sage from working for me as well....

Overall bad day for me. Fuck Facebook, I have all these amazing ideas I want to try out, and I've been slaving my ass off and then comes the final part where Facebook just says bend over

So I've been reviewing around, someone mentioned there's a high probability that on weekends they use a script of some sort to review ads, any experienced members have any views on this?

06-06-2011 02:08 AM #20 stackman (Administrator)

This happens all the time! I've had ads disaproved literaly 20 times, and 21 first time they were approved, then 2 days later disaproved. It' aint easy hustling

Also do what @dowork said, create brand new ads!

I said that a while back...
If you have the cash and ideas, DON'T DO THAT!
I don't like to think about the THOUSANDS of dollars I passed up because I couldn't figure out FB.

It was for another campaign that I was creating new ads for.

Anyways so they finally accepted my ads this morning, changed a few things and it got approved BUT not long after that they fucking disabled my account.

So I'm banned on this account now... So after 2 weeks, my account is gone hahah

I'm not gonna give up though, if anything this makes me want to make this work that much more
