I got a list of targets, it was hard to find long tail urls so I have very few and heres my list of targets that got traffic:

My landing page is: here
Maybe my topic isnt shocking enough or maybe I am just not getting PPV? I am not even concerned about the offer not converting its my LP CTR that I need help in its currently at 2% which is far to low for a poll.
Any advice?
Try more shocking headlines like: "Is it really 3024?" make the user think?
I don't know what to try is my page layout bad?
Or am I just not creative enough for PPV? :P
Also, how do you get long lists of long tail urls? I tried searching steelers fans and things of that nature.
Overall it needs some work.
Gallox has a great landing page progression in this thread.
Compare it to yours to see what your missing.

- Your landing page needs a lot more oomph. It looks very 'spammish' right now. Like a 2001 visa popup thats going to steal your visa info.
- Make your headline the opposite color of your background
- *The biggest issue is your question. I know i mentioned that headline, but it wasn't supposed to be the main question. I say try a new headline all together. Go simple just say "Who's Going To Win The SUPERBOWL?"
- Then put 2 exciting pics, 1 of each team. Then 2 buttons showing each team name. Then show a pic of whatever your submit prize is and mention what they can get.
Your URLs are lacking too, don't you have the AffExpert scraper?
Ok a few things from the top of my head :
1 - The topic isn't interesting enough. Try with a more controversial one.
2 - Use a better picture. That one is too generic.
3 - Don't use the same color for the headline as the background. Use a different one to make it stand out
4- Use audio to attract attention. It will double your lp ctr
For keywords use quantcast and alexa to get related domains to nfl ( or affexpert if you don't have time to do it manually )
Make the changes and let us know how it performs.
At the affexpert scraper. I can't seem to figure out how to scrape the long tail urls. I was looking for ways that is done but it seems everyone has their own methods of doing that. I'll start working on the landing page now
Hey , how are you trying to scrape long tails? Are you using the "Domain Expander" tool?
No, I havent been using that feature. Do you have aim bbrock? Im interested in learning more about affexpert and also everyone updated the LP, do you guys think its weird to have buttons flash at different times? Im thinking about putting an an arrow up under each button. thoughts?
jroes, it's very simple.
1. Go to the URL Scraper Tool
2. Type "NFL" (just the 1 keyword)
3. Check "Google Search" and any others you'd like to search
4. Nr. of Results = 100
5. Country = United States
6. Click "scrape URLs for these keywords!"
I think I just built up a pretty nice list of long tail urls I did nfl in the beginning and then went to the domain expander and put the top 5 urls for football in and put the keyword as the teams I was targeting to scrape those domains, now I have a list of over 300 URLs that I am ready to test with my new landing page!
Update,
Got 200 views today
10% LP CTR
4 leads at 1.30
Spent:2.00
Revenue: 5.20
Traffic seems to be my problem now
Now grab the domains that converted and enter them into the related domain finder ( at affexpert ).
It will come out with a ton of relevant ones.
These should be good enough to increase the traffic.
I just did that and now are presented with the problem:
My AM told me that NFL.com would not convert for me because the user is to "educated" from that site and would not fall for that offer, how true of a statement is that?
No one really knows the answer to that, and you shouldn't be influenced by these statements.
Just test them and see what sticks. There is no other easy way unfortunately.
Alright well I got more traffic haha, but the stats are disappointing!
54 clicks
6.44% LP CTR
So far I have added in flashy arrows and buttons and a count down timer. is voice the next thing to test in?
Campaign Update:

My landing page CTR stabilized at 6% after all the testing was said and done the things I tried:
-new headline
-voice
-different colors
-different buttons
-with and without arrows
The best combination is the current one I have with arrows and same colors as before and no voice and for the life of me can not get it above 6% LP ctr.
I managed to barely profit seeing as I:
spent: 33 dollars
revenue: 37 dollars
I can't really tell what I have learned from this campaign as I am unsure myself, the only thing I may of learned if anything is that arrows do have a tendancy to bring up LP ctr while voice has the chance to bring down the lp ctr. If anyone has suggestions or input I would love to hear it. Considering I have paused the campaign as I am clueless about what to test next.
Thanks for joining me in this case study
Well the campaign is paused stack,
I couldnt make it work, the landing page CTR was far to low and all the targets conversions are down now
oh well, better luck next time right?
Why's it paused? You had a whole bunch of URLs in the green... Why not only run it on those URLs?
If it's because of the 1% CR on the superbowl submit, try a new submit. Offer up a LCD TV. Those were my best converting submits for this campaign.
LP Ctr was around 6%, i thought that was impossible to make this work
Screw numbers. Think about this...
You have a campaign with targets that are profiting right?
Right now go into your campaign, and pause every target that isn't in the green and click 'active'. Set a budget of something above $20 and let it run. It will profit.
EDIT: I just looked at your screenshot closer and noticed your not actually profiting. P202 isn't counting your click prices right now. So for your target with 14 leads, it's not a net of $18, it's a net of $2.
haha yea, not that great :P
Ive tried a lot to bring up the LP ctr, but I just can't seem to grasp it.
