My AM at silverpath lets me get with a lot more on my landers than gt offers, as far as aggressive adcopy, for instance he lets me use the word "free" on any of my pages and creatives prior to the the midpath, it just can't be on the midpath.
GT's offers midpath is really good and converts well, but i've been told by my AM that I can't use the word free on any of the pages before or on the midpath.
For those running coreg, specifically with GT offers or other networks that are strict about compliance:
How aggressive do you guys get with your adcopy? do you use the word free? do you use free + a disclaimer (ie- Disclaimer: you'll be presented with 3rd party offers prior to receiving your price. These offers are completely optional; you do not have to complete them to receive your game.)
Or do you just get creative with your phrasing on your adcopy?:
"You may have won"
"You have won, ...."
Anyone care to share some of their techniques in staying compliant but smoothing the process through the midpath?
I've also considered hosting all my midpaths on one domain, then funneling all my traffic to a more generic midpath(s) or a appendage to my url that lets me change my header, but would not pass to the advertiser. ie- &midpath=3
Free is asking for trouble. The FTC has nailed email submit advertisers in the past. I would remove the word from your site.
@invisible777
I just did a quick scan of a handful of my trusted networks, and honestly could NOT FIND even 1 email submit that did not have the word "Free". In which most cases it was in all caps and in a bolder font and in the headline on the page.
Yes I do. The product i'm offering has a trialpay/freebie site like system. So i just send them there after my path. It's pretty similar to an email submity, but imo actually much easier for the user to actually get the free product than any email submit i've ever seen.
