Time for a new traffic source review.
Usually I wanted to post the review much earlier but unluckily few things happened in my life that kept me away from it and so it took a bit longer than expected.
But now is the time to let you all know about a new star in the traffic universe.
This time it´s about a strictly push trafficsource – or not?
You will understand when you continue reading
Mondiad
Ad Formats: Classic Push, InPage Push

Prologue
Before we continue with the real review I would like to show you a little appetizer to prepare you for the long post.
Few weeks ago I recommended Mondiad to another STM user (if you read it: Thanks for the quote
) and see yourself what he wrote:

And now let´s start the review.
My personal story with Mondiad started already before the trafficsource even existed.
How is that possible?
It´s easy explained, although Mondiad itself is a new platform the people who run it are the same people who run Popcash and Popcash is a well known name for pop traffic.
For me personally Popcash was always one of the higher quality pop sources and so it happened that one day I decided to ask them if they also plan to add push traffic to their inventory.
They told me that they plan to do it but there was no platform yet.
Fast forward…
Now there is the platform.
Instead of integrating the push traffic in the existing Popcash interface they built a brand new platform for it.
Let´s start with a look at the interface
On the left side there is the navigation

The default view is the dashboard where you get basic general info about your campaigns, news about the platform, recent transactions and links to their social media.

Not much to see there so let´s move on and check the campaigns tab.

Here you have a much better overview about your campaigns.
You can see the ad format (Classic or InPage), your bid, budget, impressions, clicks, costs and when you send conversion data back to Mondiad you can also see number of conversions and revenue.
You can filter the campaigns by ID, name, URL, country, status and you can also set a timeframe for the overview.
Of course there´s also a button to create a new campaign.
And so we get to the next point, the campaign creation interface.
First you set the campaigns name and the URL.
Here you also set if the landing page content or offer is mainstream or adult, it´s really about the content and not about the traffic that you want to buy.

Next we add the creative(s)

What I like there is that you have an inbuilt feature to add emojis to your creatives.

Icon is mandatory, big image is optional.
For me this is also a plus because I run most of my campaigns with icon only.
Of course you can also preview your creative.
Then you can choose between Classic and InPage push traffic or target both.

In the targeting section you have more or less all options we would expect.
Do you remember the adult vs mainstream stuff that I told you above and that it was only about the content of your LP or offer?
Now you can also select if you want to buy mainstream or adult traffic or both.

In the budget section you can set your bid as well as your daily and total budget.
Additionally you can also set custom bids for each zone

The last thing that you have to do before you can launch the campaign is to set the delivery options like frequency capping, timezone and day parting.
When you have done the last step just agree to the guidelines and send the campaign to moderation

Let´s move on to the next point in the navigation, the conversion tracking

If you want to send conversion data back to Mondiad you can do it with this postback URL.
Of course you need to edit it so that it works with your tracking platform but this should be common sense
Now we come to the reports.

There you can get information about all metrics that are related to your campaigns.
You can filter the reports to show only results from specific campaigns and you can also choose what stats to show.

Mondiad also has a traffic estimator where you can check their inventory to get info about avilable volume and bids.
You can also filter the results by quite a few metrics so that you can get a good idea if there´s enough traffic for your campaigns and if the bids will work for you.

Another nice feature is the referral system that allows you to earn money when someone else signs up on Mondiad through your ref link

Moving further down the navigation we arrive at the billing section where you can deposit money and where you also can see your transactions history.

The second last point is for the account settings where you can *surprise surprise* set everything related to your account
What I really like is that you can set a global blacklist for zones and subIDs.

At the very bottom of the navigation you find several options to contact Mondiad

Ok, we went through the whole navigation and before we continue with the results of my test campaigns I´d like to mention another very helpful feature.
The API
For many others this is probably not interesting at all and they will never use it.
For me however the API is a great feature because it´s not just a reporting API but you can also create or edit campaigns and blacklist zones/sites through the API.
This means with some coding skills you can use the API to automate running campaigns on Mondiad and that´s what I´ll be working on myself
Test Execution And Results
As usual I used proven and good converting offers for the campaigns so that I don´t have to test first and that I can focus completely on the traffic quality
I created several campaigns to continue then with the ones that show best potential from the start.
For all of the Push campaigns I targeted fresh users (maximum 7 days subscription age) so that I can get higher quality traffic.
Here are the results from the test campaigns
At first I´d like to show you the stats from the test campaign to get a quick overview, then we will look at the results for each of the campagns.

The numbers below are a bit different from the numbers on the screenshot because I always set a higher % of trafficloss in my tracker so that the cost in my tracker is not 100% accurate.
For the numbers below I used the real cost from the trafficsource so that we see the real cost there.
3 of the campaigns were stopped very fast because other campaigns were doing way better already so that there was no need to keep them running for longer for the tests.
These 3 campaigns generated no revenue before they were stopped.
Campaign 1 conversions: 0
Campaign 1 Cost: $0.98
Campaign 1 revenue: $0
Campaign 1 profit: $-0.98
Campaign 2 conversions: 0
Campaign 2 Cost: $1.15
Campaign 2 revenue: $0
Campaign 2 profit: $-1.15
Campaign 3 was a bit different.
All other campaigns ran with CPL flow, the offer in this campaign used CPS flow with $0 CPL trigger.
So although it generated 6 CPL conversions it still shows $0 revenue because none of the leads turned into a sale.
Campaign 3 conversions: 6
Campaign 3 Cost: $2.34
Campaign 3 revenue: $0
Campaign 3 profit: $-2.34
The next 2 campaigns were running for a bit longer to check how they perform.
They generated few conversions but eventually they were also stopped to make room for the top campaigns.
Campaign 4 conversions: 2
Campaign 4 Cost: $13.05
Campaign 4 revenue: $7.47
Campaign 4 profit: $-5.58
Campaign 5 conversions: 18
Campaign 5 Cost: $24.95
Campaign 5 revenue: $18.21
Campaign 5 profit: $-6.74
Before we finally check the campaigns that received most traffic and were running longest there is another campaign.
It performed very good but unluckily I didn´t get that much traffic for that targeting, otherwise it would be the clear winner when it would keep the performance on higher volume.
Campaign 6 conversions: 23
Campaign 6 Cost: $7.14
Campaign 6 revenue: $21.30
Campaign 6 profit: $14.16
And here are the two winners
Campaign 7 conversions: 156
Campaign 7 Cost: $60.49
Campaign 7 revenue: $93.53
Campaign 7 profit: $33.04
Campaign 8 conversions: 569
Campaign 8 Cost: $223.27
Campaign 8 revenue: $287.16
Campaign 8 profit: $63.89
Total results
Total cost: $333.37
Total revenue: $427.67
Total profit: $94.3
Those of you who paid close attention to this post will probably notice something that doesn´t add up.
On the screenshots from the interface we can see 9 campaigns but here I show only results from 8 campaigns.
What happened to the lost 9th campaign?
As you can see in one of the screenshots the missing campaign is an InPage push campaign.
I wanted to test that format as well so I took the best classic push campaign (Campaign 8) and ran the same funnel on InPage traffic as well.
Unluckily I somehow forgot to monitor the campaign properly so that I messed up the campaign and it went much worse than needed.

When we take a look at the placement stats we can clearly see where I failed.

The payout for the offer was $0.505 and several placements exceeded what I would usually spend before I stop them.
Let´s imagine for a moment that I would do my job conscientious and that I stop all placements with more than 1 offer payout in loss, then the stats for the „failed“ campaign look like this:

Yes, it´s still slightly in loss but it´s a fresh campaign with lots of traffic available.
When I would keep it running for longer and optimize properly I am confident that it would also become profitable.
Anyway, now you know why I didn´t consider that campaign for the test results and now you also know that I mess up my stuff sometimes
Summary
As I already said in the prologue, Popcash was for me always one of the pop sources with higher quality traffic and so I also had pretty high expectations when I wanted to test Mondiads push traffic.
But as you can see yourself it didn´t fail my expectations and from my tests I can proudly say that the overall traffic quality is very good.
I can imagine that my test campaigns that were stopped would also become profitable when I give them more time.
Of course this is just guesswork but based on the test results I think it´s a fair assumption.
In the very beginning of this post I said that I usually wanted to write the review much earlier.
Luckily enough I have some more time now again and this means for me that I will fire up few more campaigns on Mondiad to see how it goes.
There´s one thing however that I would really love to see implemented: CPA or CPA Goal option.
If that´s possible in the future I will definitely run more campaigns on Mondiad.
My overall conclusion for Mondiad is: Thums Up
If you run push traffic and you´re looking for a new trafficsource for scaling or if you´re just starting and you´re looking for a good trafficsource you should give Mondiad a chance.
$50 minimum deposit is also not much so that you can easily test their traffic without going broke.

Excellent review thanks @twinaxe!

Nice sharing but I have question
Are you testing the funnels in these new traffic sources that are already running well in other traffic sources?
For the trafficsource reviews I use funnels that are already converting good.
Would I test a new trafficsource without a proven funnel and the test campaigns don´t convert I couldn´t tell if it´s the traffic or the offer that doesn´t work.
With a proven funnel I remove one variable from the equation.
I have several offers that perform very stable and where I already have lots of data, when I use these offers for the tests I can focus on testing the traffic and the platform itself.
Interesting, would give it a try. Thank you for the detailed review @twinaxe
@rizwan2022 Thanks for your kind words.
Sure
Let us know how it goes
Have tested Mondiad now and am pleasantly surprised.
Big thanks to @twinaxe for this awesome review.
Just would like to add a few things:
- moderation is very speedy (less than 30min)
- flow of traffic is normal, so no initial boost or sudden massiv wave --> meaning no (unpleasant) surprises
- one zone can have several sub id --> similar to what e.g. zeropark has with source and target, or in other words they have several feeds with their own sub ids
- discount code when you deposit 100 USD --> STMOCT10

Your camp link should look similar to this:
https://unflagable.ninja/click.php?k...234567890&cid=[clickid]&cost=[bid]&zone=[zoneid]&geo=[country]&campid=[campaignid]&creative=[creativeid]&carrier=[carrier]&subsage=[subscriptionage]&format=[adformat]&subid=[subid]
Hello guys!
Mondiad team here!
First of all, I want to say a big Thank you to @twinaxe for this detailed review! We are really glad to find out that you liked our platform!
@affpayinggao & @rizwan2022 if you already tried our network I would be very grateful to hear some feedback from you!
@larsometer thanks for sharing your valuable feedback, we are continuously improving our system so any feedback is very welcomed! Regarding the trackers, we are currently working with most of the industry's trackers to implement Mondiad as a traffic source. Those struggles will be gone very soon.
Also, we've brought some important platform improvements to our platform since the initial posting of @twinaxe that are detailed on our official STM topic like:
- Smart Optimization Rules
- Custom bids for ZoneID
- Cryptocurrencies deposits
We are currently working to bring more and more tools that will simplify affiliates' life and if you miss anything from our platform don't hesitate to tell us and we will do our best to develop them.
