So there's several Psychological factors that we as humans have that make we make decisions from, here's 7 Simmple and Efective ways,use your creativity and make them your own! 
1)Reciprocity: Doing something for them like a discount Ex: that makes consumers feel indebted and want to return the favor.
2)Scarcity:The more rare we see the more value we see. Ex:Almost sold out. Common reason haha
3)Loss Aversion)We Avoid Losses ,we respond strongly on negative information.
4)Social Proof:We Tend to trust others ,if we see a high demand it must be good. Ex:''Join our community'' ''Exclusive Acess'' We also trust the opinions of those we like.
5)Decision Fatigue:Too many options we=we dont make a decision,the less. the better! Make decisions easy to take
6)Confirmation Bias:We are open to decisions that confirms our Ideas. We shun what doesn't

7)Cognitive Influency:We Tend to do things that we are used to doing
Familiarity
one in the past,copy those that are similar.

Psychology plays a HUGE role in marketing, we are using many of these principles in our campaigns, even though we often don't realize it's the case 
All the questions, countdowns, limited supply, claims, UGC and testimonials... all of this is a standard part of many campaigns
