Tiktok to introduce Search Ads!
From Savannah Sanchez, one of my favourite Tiktok agency owners, https://twitter.com/social_savannah/...07081197903874
If this is true, this will be a game changer! And it wil make Tiktok absolute bucketfulls of money.

I've seen a speech or two from Savanah that she had during Ecom Conferences, she is really a good presenter with lots of valuable info to share.
And yes, this could be quite a game changer for TikTok, it's insane how quickly that platform is growing... they can increase their revenues by a LOT.

This is going to be HUGE.
If you are one of the first ones advertising search PPC on Tiktok before everyone else does, there will be an incredible window of opportunity where you will be able to rake in the cash.

I'm so excited lol
This is going to be so easy.
I have close to 600 TikTok videos I can repurpose now, I can relaunch literally every campaign I've ever ran on search now.
I'm so excited man, sheeeeesh

It is still VERY early, so you should try to get in on Tiktok as soon as you can.
This happens with every traffic channel ... the early bird gets the worm.
When Adwords first came out, you could buy keywords like "mortgage" for like $2. (These keywords can costs $50+ right now). You could then drive them to a lead generation landing page, with about 10% conversion rate, (so cost per lead of $20), and then turn around and sell these leads for $100 to mortgage brokers and make a million dollars in your first year.
When native ads first came out, and no one knew what they were, we were one of the first ones on board and quickly became the 2nd largest native ad buyer in the UK. (This would be impossible to do right now) and pretty much doubled our leadflow over night.
All of these channels get more and more competitive as more and more people start advertising on them. But if you are one of the early ones, you have a great window of opportunity to make a lot of money quickly.

For tiktok, is it possible to target Australia, and a few other countries?

Yes, generally it's possible to target AU.
About other countries it depends what countries you're looking for.
Altogether there are about 60 countries available.

The GEOs you can target depend on where you are located, they have this strange system in place still.
Check this page for more info:

In some cases, the support can enable extra GEOs for you, try to talk to them.
A way around this would be to use an agency account that you can rent, for example:

Yup, I found it a while ago when someone was asking a similar question. I just wonder why they have it setup like this, doesn't make much sense to me. I understand they open the GEOs one by one, in order to have local reviewers in place and limit the work load, but why should the location of an advertiser limit what GEOs they can target... weird.
