MyPcBackUp PPV
Alright this is my first follow along campaigns, have not made any big IM money yet.
So feel free to comment on my approach , creatives...
Day 1:
Budget : 15$
Landers:

LP CTR - 5-6%
ROI : -100%
Day 2: I will take out the nasty keywords which drained my budget, and will add new ones which I scraped, checked ranking with alexa...

I hope you're running direct and not with EWA. Got my leads scrubbed pretty bad when I tested MyPCBackup with EWA.

If anything, your LP's are TOO pretty lol, you're very talented =)
Maybe split test a super ridiculously hideous LP, maybe an attention grabbing, shock, and awe pic.

Dude your landing pages are slick!
Are you using sound at all on this?
I would put the classic windows error sound and give it a try

I was unable to get this campaign approved on Traffic Vance. They said it was against their terms - Downloadable Service. I guess I'll try again!

Simple bro, photoshop and dreamweaver.
I wanted to write a quick coding tutorial, I still am in the process of organizing it.

Okay wierd day....
Yestarday I ended the day with 8 leads totalling 42$ with a spend of 20$
Today I optimized had keywords ctr of : 20%, and all landers were averaging 15% ctr, but 0 leads. That is really wierd, so I got another network with the same offer in rotation still no leads. Kind of wierd...?

Im going to go on a limb and say those landers are bad. I think they are too distracting and when I first glanced at them i was like what is going on!? Too much stuff and the text is too small. On ppv you want to focus on ctr and i dont think it will work with those landers. Keep it simple and make it more plain but more shocking.
My 2 cents homeboy

Thanks alot bro, but my ctr has increased after optimization from 5% to 16%.
Just the leads stopped coming in...not sure why.

That advertiser is the most unstable one I've ever worked with. I went from mid $x,xxx to low $xxx daily with their other offers.

I was thinking of running this on LeadImpact today....probably starting with US & UK targets. But I don't like very volatile daily results on stable paid traffic. Is MyPCBackup more stable now? I was going to test it with EWA first.

This offer will either A) Start to scrub like crazy or B) Kick you off due to quality. HOWEVER, you can combat this by rotating in other iterations of this offer such as Just Cloud and...there is another one which I don't recall at the moment. If you're quick on their ass you can make some $$

They're all pretty much the exact same offer, same advertiser I believe. I got this offer up to $400/Day profit on Lead Impact awhile back. Target virus removal type URLS and play the "Back up all your shit before a virus takes it!" angle. Good luck man

I'm seeing people sending fake leads to that offer since weeks.
This is why you are getting shaved

Friend of mine was running it also, went from good profit to breakeven. However people who used microworkers to get fake are to blame for this also, they ruin it for the rest of us who send legit leads...

Ya went from 200% ROI to -30% ROI after a few days running it on LI. Was running their other offer, justcloud. When that tanked tried mypcbackup, and saw like a few cents more in epcs but still sucked roi-wise.

This sucks:

The quality will back out to $0 for the advertiser! What im confused about is why it's affecting legitimate affiliates sending real leads.
There are even call centre operations set up which call numbers in Canada and the US saying "it's Microsoft and they found a virus on your computer", they then get you to go to a url and install this and other competitors while theyre on the phone. They even get you to try to install remote pc software too so they can install multiple ones for you faster. When i told them i had iOS they instantly hung up :|

Wow. That must convert spectacularly well given how retarded people are with computers; I know a lot of my relatives would fall for this instantly. However, this is a recipe for jail time for the entrepreneur/scam artist. Just a tad too much beyond the evil line...

Yep exactly, they're doing it bigtime too, it was covered by all the major news channels. I have a feeling it's their own ppv setup/software though.

It's the online version of the old scam: people knocking on doors and telling you "hey I'm from the Electricity Company, you have a bill to pay or we'll switch off power by tonight and it'll take a week to get it back. I take cash." or some such line. Authority + fear = profit.
@zkyclear: it looks like the advertiser is overwhelmed by the amount of fake leads and shaving everyone as a result. Maybe you should drop this one for now? I know I would...
