Grand Slam Media / Adnium is looking for passionate, self-motivated leaders to join our team as an Internal & External Media Buyers (see External Media Buyer description below)!
Internal Media Buyer:
The Internal Media Buyer will be an expert in their product’s vertical and have a thorough understanding of the conversion funnel. They are highly analytical and able to make decisions on the fly to keep their campaigns profitable.
● Able to identify traffic opportunities within the network to monetize offers at a profit
● Collaborate with the design team to build and edit landing pages and creatives
● Negotiating, implementing and managing traffic and advertisement purchases
● Recommend new features to improve user experience and conversions to third-parties
● Constantly conduct and analyze various A/B testing use cases and optimizations to improve
conversions
● Staying up to date on industry trends and changes in the field; and keeping an eye on the
competition
External Media Buyer:
The External Media Buyer will be a highly motivated sales representative that is able to pitch on more than just price competitiveness.
● Prospecting new business and identifying contact methods
● Reaching out to a list of prospective clients and closing business
● Cold calling publishers to inquire about purchasing their traffic on an impression based model
● Be able to identify the value of traffic to aid in purchase negotiations
● Ability to propose a more optimal ad model to increase traffic value
Requirements
● Excellent reading/writing and negotiation skills
● Relentless follow up and dogged determination
● Able to speak, read and write English
Other Skills/Abilities
● Strong analytical and problem solving skills
● Proactive, with strong communication skills
● Able to work autonomously and within a team
● Problem solving abilities and a high attention to detail is a must
● Ability to adapt to workload and working conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and
professional demeanor
● Working knowledge of the Apple Operating System is an asset
● Ability to work in an environment with 18+ (NSFW) clientele and content reviewed and discussed by
peers
● Ability to work with spreadsheets (Google spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel) is required, with an ability to
create and work with low-level formulas
Requirements:
● Strong organizational skills is a must
● Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of online tools used in the company
● Knowledge of Real-time Bidding and automated media buying
● Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
