Follow Along Pops on two traffic sources (6)

Follow Along Pops on two traffic sources

I think resilience is the word for a newbie in AM.
So here I am again, very tired, sleeping almost nothing because I really want to learn and make this work.

This time I'm mixing quite a bit of info I red on this forum integrating what i feel could work:

Traffic source: Popads and Propeller
Why? Seems that most of you guys suggest to run the same offer on more traffic sources.

I will be testing 4 offers from Mobipium in Vietnam Zone.
Why Vietnam? Someone suggested to look for the traffic inventory in the traffic source and Vietnam felt interesting.

I setup 4 offers in Bemob
I setup two traffic sources and two Affiliate Networks.

Than I created two Campaigns where each has 4 offers. I never did this so I think they will split test each 25%.

The idea is to see if one of these 4 could have some potential.

How to understand if an offer has some potential?
I red that if an offer has at least < -50% ROI, it worth to optimize it. Is this correct?

By the way, will see how it goes. I hope the tracker is set correctly, should be.
Waiting for the campaign to be approved.

PopAds says only 12.000 impressions per day. Is this enough? Bid: 0.00036

Propellers asks for at least:2,2 CPM (bid: 0,002) in order to stay at the top of the graph.

I'm interested to see how the two different traffic sources will perform. As always, feel free to give me any feedback.
I'll keep u updated.

I think the thread still wasn't visible, I've changed the settings now and it should be all fine now.

Thanks, I was not finding this one, my bad. So just a quick update how it went.

-100% ROI on Propeller.

The campaign in PopAds is still running.
I just cut off one of the four offers because it was eating most of the budget and was the less performing.

As I asked for an advice on another post about this performance and the suggestion was to stop trying with these offers.
The veterans suggested to move away for now from Mobipium offers which are for more experienced affiliates.

When you said "Mobipium offers" are you referring to the push subscription offers mentioned in the $1 guide? If so, these offers are definitely NOT reserved for more experienced affiliates - who was it that told you this?

They convert on pop traffic when direct-linked, without the need for landers. Things don't get easier than this.

PLUS, payouts are low, so you get lots of conversions on low spend. This makes them perfect to use for learning the ropes.

You can do all kinds of experiments with an offer like this, without a big investment.

Now - let's look at those VN offers you were testing. Some questions:

-What are the offer payouts?

-What types of offers are they? (The more info the better - vertical, funnel / conversion flow, targeting restrictions...)

-Did you use landing pages?

-Did you blacklist placements?

Let's start with those.

Hi Amy!

I was using single offers from Mobipium. Not the smartlinks.
I stoped use Smartlinks, I hade some revenue but zero profit- After 60$ invested on that 1$ campaign i followed the suggestion to move on to single offers.
I also red, i think your post, where u were saying that a lot of people are using the smartlinks and they are less effective as they use to be.

Regarding the new offers the payouts were around 0,40$
Direct Linking, no landing pages (Still figuring out if to use my method as I use for my clients, shared hosting, or invest in a super fast server and learn how to set it up and what comes with it).

Here they are:

Country: Vietnam
Carrier: MobiFone
Category: Carrier Billing
Type of Traffic: Mobile Mainstream
Operating System: All OS
Model: CPA
Flow: PIN Submit
Payout: $0,50
Daily Cap: 100
Time Frame: Open

I did not blacklisted because the result was literally -100 ROI on everything. Like total depressing zero.

Maybe this is moment I will learn something new, as that these offers need a landing page.

That is true as far as making profits goes. However, they're a good way to learn with. You can't really learn without data, and the mobipium smartlink can provide you with data - you can learn how to cut placements and test bids for pennies on the dollar.

If you're wanting to continue running pops or push, I really would recommend that you go through the entire 40-day tutorial. You'll learn how to, among other things:

-How to test offers and landers

-How to set up hosting for landers

-How to cut placements and do other optimization

If you're finding that most of your budget was spent on a single placement, then it's possible that by blacklisting that placement and running a bit more traffic, you may start getting conversions (i.e. that one placement could be a low-quality one).

Those 4 offers you listed: The 1-click and 2-click offers should convert without landing pages. The pin submits - depends. Are those sweeps offers or video subscription offers or?
