Not sure if it's cool to start one of these on your first day as a member, so someone slap me if I'm not supposed to. This is going to be me getting to $100/day profit from Facebook ads.

Doubts and Concerns (Current disposition in red)
Facebook will deny all of my ads because I'm direct linking to a CPA offer. This happened to me when I was experimenting with FB before using a free iPhone offer and just one ad. The ad kept getting denied because it promoted content that was 'against facebook's guidelines' or something like that. It got approved once and then denied twice for the previously mentioned reason. Just get started and see what happens. You don't have enough information to make that assumption.

Prosper202 isn't the best way to track FB ads. It's a way. Use it.

Your shared hosting account with Host Gator isn't good enough for Prosper202 or landing page hosting. It held up fine for thousands of hits a day and upwards of 200 users on at the same time. You're talking about 10-20 clicks a day testing Facebook. It'll be fine.

Should I be testing more than one variable at a time? Like offer, ad title, ad copy, and ad image or just change one thing at a time? Do you know how to conduct multivariate testing right now? No? Didn't think so. Change one thing at a time.

What the hell demographics should I be using? There's like an infinite number of combinations to choose from on Facebook. Pick one. How about this? Men, 18-35. There. Now find pics of hot girls with ipads.

I can see I'm going to run into a problem here finding Facebook friendly offers to promote on Max Bounty; there's not many dating offers and the game offers are all bingo related (gambling) or require a download/install of what I can only assume is adware.

I re-applied with Neverblue which denied me earlier this month, and am still waiting to hear back from: Peerfly, A4D, EWA

If anyone knows of a way to expedite the acceptance process for any of those mentioned above, that'd be awesome. I did mention this forum in my Neverblue re-application and my EWA application, and A4D called me a few weeks ago but never heard back from them -- I'm assuming I'm denied.

Mate get on the phone and call them up, that's the best way to get accepted fast Just applying and waiting for a call is enough to get you denied lots of the time. At least this is what I have found.

Damn thanks for the tip. I guess Max Bounty was a fluke.. they called me like two hours after applying! I'll be calling the networks I've applied to throughout the day.

Quicker update than planned, been busy this morning:

• Called and left a message with Peerfly
• Re-applied, called, and left a message with Neverblue
• Sent an email to EWA (couldn't find a phone #) but without a name for a referral... can anyone help me out with that?
• Signed up for Adsimilis and got an email from Sean Mulkeen before I got a chance to call. Seems like a good sign, I have my fingers crossed..
• Might give A4D another call after lunch and see what's up.

Hopefully will be accepted somewhere that has a gaming or dating campaign I can run on Facebook soon. Planning to mock up some dating ads tonight regardless, can always modify them after the fact.

Again, if any existing EWA members could be my referral I'd really appreciate it. I'll wash your car...

Got approved for A4D last night -- thanks Jason for helping me out, started looking for dating offers this morning. Made a spreadsheet with name of offer, Mywot rating, payout, and type (lead/app install/etc.). Lots of dating sites in the red and yellow on Mywot. Yellow okay? Hope so.

Leaning towards Facebook dating app installs. Seems like they'd convert pretty well on FB? Maybe. I'll talk to my AM about it.

The 8-5 job has been kicking my ass recently, need to go in early and get caught up so I don't have to stay late and can get to work on this. Thinking of rearranging my sleep schedule for more consecutive working hours at night.

Side note: I'd like to be as transparent as possible, I'm not worried about keeping my fist (serious) campaign a secret. I'd rather get the specific feedback. What should/shouldn't I mention as far as campaign details? Is specific offer / payout ok? I don't want to piss off any affiliate networks because I don't know what I'm doing.

Created a new FB account for ads. Already used my debit card on my personal account for a free iPhone campaign I ran a couple weeks ago, so couldn't use that on the new account. Opted for my PayPal account instead.

As for the offer I settled on a FB app install for areyouinterested.com, Australian 30+. Split testing 7 very safe images, half of which will probably get denied because it's Facebook, and the same ad title & copy. Targeting males 30-45 only at this point. Need to find pics of happy couples for females.. that sound about right? I'm just going by what I've heard mentioned on forums before. Does just pics of guys work for the 30+ female demo?

As I'm writing this I just got approved for one of my ads.. it's... holy shit, all 7 of em. Wow.

I have no idea what time it is in Australia right now. I should probably figure that out.

The Facebook account I created yesterday got disabled due to "suspicious payment activity". Is it because I purchased ads using Paypal minutes after creating the account? Maybe. Is PoF this ridiculous? Thank god I created a separate account.

I can't even log in to see what my stats were for the ads I've been running for almost 24 hrs. That pisses me off. I don't mind parting with money as long as I learn something, but now I can't.

Seriously considering a different traffic source. I messaged them using that form they give you after your account is suspended, but I don't really feel like waiting around to hear back from them. I'm going to get familiar with PoF and try my luck there.

After all of yesterday's Facebook fun, I decided to go with PoF rather than make a new account on FB and risk going through the same bullshit again and wasting even more time.

Settled on richmen.com dating offer, and am targeting women 18-25 in the US with <=100 logins. Too broad?

Also not sure if you can check the actual demographic information for your traffic after your ads run. Is that the case? If so that would be sweet. Just always start broad and then focus on what's working. That's probably going to cost more to test, though.

I'm using POF tracking for this offer rather than p202, just to see how it is. I like to keep things simple wherever possible, but I don't want to miss out on valuable info either. I'm not sure what advantages there would be to using p202 in this case.

Made a spy account and checked out the competition for that offer, then used what I saw to come up with some creatives. Most ads I checked out were direct linked, some used a lander. I'm just direct linking for now.

I kept the same title and ad copy and just used 6 different images. Does POF rotate the creatives randomly under the same campaign? I'm not too clear on that.

Funded my account with $50 and set the daily spend limit to $10. I wonder if that's enough. Also, my starting bid is at $0.40.. I have a feeling that's too low. But I guess I won't know till they start running.

Submitted a couple hours ago, still waiting for approval.

I don't get it. I'm targeting US Females, the offer page should show if the reviewer is in the US. Should I have no used the aff link during the review process? If not, wouldn't switching it back in after the ads are approved trigger another approval process?

you should contact them, explain to them you doing nothing wrong in diplomatic way, show them screenshot and proof. If you're not doing anything blackhat, they will reinstate your account.

I did the day it got banned using the form they provided.. not sure if it did any good. Since I can't log in I can't really take any screen shots.

Contact them again, today, and do that until they respond. They're busy so it will probably take a couple days, but hit them up again, and if no response, do it again in like 3 days. Tell them you're an advertiser that is looking to spend a couple million over the next year or two if all goes well, and that you're not doing anything wrong, just trying to learn the basics.

McGrunin posted something like this a while back and it worked out for him, can't find the thread but its out there somewhere, he didn't say the basics part tho, but that's because he was probably already dropping 2-5k a day haha.
