Lander Images

Where do you get them? Things like product images or Facebook profile pics, where's the best place to source that avoids opening myself up to getting sued?

If you want to alter an element of your lander that is an image when translating is there an easy learnable fix, or does it involve photoshop skills/a trip to fiverr?

Much obliged gang

Image resources - that's an easy one because it's been discussed pretty extensively. Let me link you to some posts!

Scroll down to section "Where to get images and videos" - https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-Videos-Part-2

As for editing images - do you have an example? But if you need to, photoshop really isn't hard to learn:

This will give you the basics, and then for anything else you want to do, just google.

This was unbelievably helpful, I feel like I'm constantly flush with content in this place but I'll get that stuff on my reading list as a priority.

What spurred it into motion was a spinner lander im running which sports the iphone 11 but my sweeps are for 12, and
im just not sure how to fix that. Click image for larger version.

I was trying to hunt down any methods more cost effective than a trip to fiverr. But given the bargain i got on lander translation, it's definitely an option if needs be.

Go to fiverr and get a blank one without the prizes. You can easily add prizes with Canva, Photoshop or any other tool. The removing was what I found to be a bit harder.

You could even supply one and have them clean it up and remove all the prizes. Then drop on what you want, and even just rotate it for landers with different offers. Meaning, you could make a spinner with an iPhone, Galaxy, MacBook, and iPad. Then you just rotate it to have the prize for that lander in the right spot.

Lander Images

Great advice! But why not just download a lander that ALREADY has the right image?

Took me all of 60 seconds to find it on Adplexity, download it, and upload the image to imgur.

I am adplexless which makes things a bit more challenging, but you've given me a killer starting point

I also did not account for just how much time minor admin like lander translation can take up between, commenter names, text, profile pics ahaha. One of the many ways action gives more than theory every time

You can TRY to rip landers by spying "in the wild", i.e. go to sites that have pop ads with your VPN set to the target geo and rip landers that are already in the target language.

However, you won't have ANY indication as to how well the lander will perform - unlike if you were to download landers from Adplexity, where you can choose landers that have received a lot of traffic. The reasoning is that no smart affiliate would keep sending a lot of traffic to a lander that doesn't convert. Also, if you see multiple instances of the same lander being used, that would be another indication that it's converting well for affiliates.

So - if you're planning to rip landers by spying in the wild - I would encourage you to rip and test more landers than you otherwise would, just to increase your chances of ripping at least one good one. Doing so will cost more money, but if you absolutely don't have the funds for Adplexity yet, then it may be a viable alternative.

@mat4499

Some time ago I posted a thread about manual spying HERE

@vortex

That's cracking. Tbh my primary lander acquisition method is the $1 adplexity packs and pleading through the lander request thread, with manual spying as a back up in hard times or just when I have too much time on my hands.

I hadn't thought of using appearance rate as a quality check though, that's super helpful.

That thread link is super helpful thought because I'd want to know how to get it done, I'll favorite now.

For sure it is

When you spy manually you only can see landers that are being used but you have no data about how often they are shown, for what devices, geos, how long they run, what networks, how many other affiliates use it.

Yup, the additional data is one of the most important things that make spytools better than manual spying. Knowing how long something has been running, where it has been running etc.. that's priceless info!
