So.. any newbies actually making a profit from the beginner tutorials?
Cause I have the feelings its more to get used to the tools but I rarely read anyone new or these days even experienced guys making good profits with CPA as described in the tutorials. Also pretty much most people I know don't even do CPA, most of them are in ecommerce or AM so Im kinda hesitant to invest a couple k.
Ofcourse you dont read it, most dont put their success stories online. STM is just a droplet in the affiliate ocean.
Only a few are decent and open enough to drop, info, tuts or whatever knowledge.

I wish that everyone who has become profitable by following the tutorials would actually post about it, here on the forum. Unfortunately, most want to remain private, some feel that their success is not big enough to share or they simply don't feel like posting about it at all.
Most of the time, we just get a PM with a "thank you" message, or people show up face to face at some industry event.
And of course, a large part of those who try AM will actually fail, I'm not gonna lie about it to you. As any business, AM is not for everyone. It's not an easy business, there is a lot of competition out there... but then again, isn't it the same with any promising business there is? 
Those who have the patience, mindset and will to succeed can still make solid profits in this business... it's been like that for a while and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
It IS true that this space has become more competitive in recent years, but yes affiliates are still making money!

On the other hand, it is true that running paid traffic to CPA is a volatile business model. It's exciting as hell and you can see fast results - set up a campaign in minutes and start seeing traffic - but income can go from $10,000+ to -$10,000 in the same day so you need a good strong heart.
Or another business/job to hedge against the volatility.
This is why a lot of people only run CPA offers for a few years, make some quick money, then explore more stable/long-term business models - ecommerce or SEO/blogs or whatever else.
