AM Insights - Affiliate Tips Straight From The Frontline
I would like to start a new post series where our users (especially beginners) get the chance to receive hot tips and helpful info for their campaigns directly from the people who work closely with affiliates day by day – the affiliate managers.
Mostly when you have interviews with people from the industry it´s with CEOs or founders of the platforms.
Getting info from these people is also amazing because it can give nice insights about the platforms itself but often the CEOs or founders don´t work that much with us affiliates directly.
Mostly the AMs work much closer with the affiliates so they can give more practical tips for affiliates like me and you.
AMs are our connection to the networks, they can be a great help and in best case the communication with them and the tips they give you have direct positive effects on your campaigns.
Building a good and trustworthy longterm relationship with your AMs can also be a huge competitive advantage, for example when you get access to private offers or when you can be the first one to run new offers.
The thing is that AMs, just as everyone else, only have limited time available so it´s important that we don´t waste their time and rather work together with them instead of just sending cryptic messages where they have to decode what we want from them 
Especially beginners often have a hard time when they don´t really know how to communicate the right way with their managers so these posts shall help to
- Learn how to best talk to AMs
- Learn how to ask the right questions to receive better information
- Receive first hand information about the best ways to start so that you can eliminate some guesswork
- Clear away some uncertainties and misunderstandings in communication with your AMs
And of course it shall entertain you with nice stories from nice people 
I did my best to come up with questions where I thought they will be interesting for beginners but if there´s anything else that you want to know from an affiliate managers point of view just post it here.

We even can see some similarities in the answers so that it´s probably a good idea to listen to it
