Google Sheet on Filtering Out Bad Publisher IDs with Push or Pop Traffic

felt inspired by @caravaggio thread about his Google Sheet Tutorial and decided to share mine.

I didn't mean to show off my calculator on a presentation via Virtual Affiliate Summit but I got asked a lot of questions about it, so I decided to create a separate google sheet for it. What the calculator does is give a baseline of where to start.

A lot of affiliates do not understand to work backward from a CPA or from what they have just spent. They see negative ROI and then quit or give up without really understanding why.

The most important thing in affiliate marketing is understanding the story and numbers help you better understand the story. In order to help determine what your baseline numbers should be I created this mini calculator base on simple questions.

You just have to BE REALISTIC with your numbers in this calculator OR play enough with the numbers to have an outcome you want.

It is a basic calculator and then members of my chat wanted a filter to help them with their push campaigns on whether to keep a publisher ID base on their original input.

The calculator isn't fooled proof but it does help with finding out which widgets or ID you need to keep or not. It is editable base on what you want to point out as well. I have provided this to ZeroPark and they really enjoyed the calculator and gave me some insight on it as well.

I only made it with ZeroPark and RichAds as that is what my chat community wanted, you can definitely add in other networks as well as it follows the same principle.

I have my own sheets for each source but this is a very basic one to help with just removing bad publisher IDs and which to keep, you simply just input your data in here every day and it will help you build a blacklist or even whitelist.

Just copy the Google Sheet Here and you can play around with the calculator... and no optin required!!

If you have any questions let me know or if you have any suggestions to make it better let me know too. I do know that when you start out as an affiliate it can be hard.

This is how I first started manipulating my data, playing around with Excel back in the day, and playing around with numbers to help me understand the story with my ads.

Enjoy!

That's really cool tool and definitely more advanced than mine Will try it with my next campaign.

Now I see that Google Sheets are used more often than I thought. I underestimated them a bit.

Thanks for the share!
