GDN Traffic for Newbie

Hi all,
I'm newbie in STM and Marketing.
3 month ago, I run facebook to get traffic for my ecommerce store but ads cost is very high: ~45 - 50%.
Now I want to run my business on GDN.
Let's share my knowhow about Google Display Network & Facebook:
1. Both GDN and Facebook are the display system, GDN shows their ads on partner websites instead of their platform likely facebook.
2. Both customers in GDN and Facebook are not willing to buy product becase of:
- People in facebook to reach thier family, friend story, picture and chat.
- People in google display network are focus on the other activity (likely reading a newpaper,...)
Oke, that's not only my troubles: Why the conversion rate on Facebook are so far higher than GDN?
I got 100 visitor from facebook and took 2 - 3 sales but over 300 visitors from GDN with no sales.
What is the most important things to be focus on GDN to get sales? Placement or Keyword or Content Targeting?
I hope I have good campaign with GDN and scales it.
And does anyone know about GDN training course? please show me.
Thank you very much.

Hey,

Try to keep your questions grouped in the same thread.

Have you watched the videos in my previous post?
Can you answer the questions @matuloo asked in the previous thread?
Can you share your site?

No, they don't buy because the offer you present them is not compelling to them.

Presenting an attractive offer to the right audience.

What do you mean by 45-50% ? Was that supposed to be in $$$? What's your product price and what is the desired CPA you're looking for?

Better targeted audience most likely.

And as jeremie suggested, I already asked some questions in the other thread that we need answers for in order to help you out.

Thank you for reply me, @jeremie
About the questions @matuloo asked in the previous thread:

"
Have you been able to sell anything with the store when using some other traffic type? Have you optimized the store with other traffic?"

Yes, I have sell with Facebook traffic

"Are people browsing the store, adding items to cart but just not checking out?"
Very few people add to cart

"Are you sure the store works correctly... tech setup, order process, payment options..."
Yes, ofcourse

"What ads did you use? What about the targeting, are you sure you're trying to sell to your target audience..."
I use GDN standard campaign and about targeting:
- I spare customer by age, trying target in-market, infinite audience in other ads group

My website is: freljord.net
And i'm focus on the product: https://www.freljord.net/collections...asual-sneakers

Can you share your site or the page you send traffic to? That would help, because you are not really giving lots of info

Have you watched the video in my previous post? Are you sending traffic to 1) the home page of your site? 2) a product page of your store? 3) a specific page you created, optimized for conversion?
Have you watched the landing page audit videos in my previous post?

Hello,

The main problem is the product. You sell a basic sneaker, which is a commodity product one can find in any store, without any added value. There is no incentive at all to buy from your store.

Apart from that:
- You are sending your traffic to a product page, not a landing page optimized for conversion. You give features and not benefits for the user. Maybe you should watch the audit videos from the other thread again
- The site looks cheap, no logo, no testimonials, no credibility

The problem is not FB or GDN (the creatives are decent, even if not very original), it is your offer and how you present it.

Thank you for your support, @jeremie

Could you show me some logics or way to define the right target in GDN?
The keyword "shoes", "sneakers" are to general, that is?

Maybe my last sentence was not visible enough.

The problem is NOT FB or GDN, it is your offer and how you present it.

Stop wasting money to bring traffic that will not convert, or very poorly.
Re-read my last post,

1) Watch this video again, 10 times if needed:

2) Check the last post in this thread, and watch all videos related to ecommerce
