danny27's new Follow Along - blank chapter

Hello Super Affiliates and everyone

I'm stuck - can't get myself to move forward. Sorry I am so weak. I know I need to be more SAMURAI. I need to drink some SNAKE BILE.

I've been horsing around for the last week. SO HORRIBLE! Is this normal? can't get myself to work. I WAS LIKE A DRAGON when I started.. Now I sit in my office either reading or checking out hot girls. Tomorrow I may end up talking to them and asking for their facebooks

There's too much information here which is good but I'm in overwhelm on where to go next. And all the AM's are telling me Dating, some suggesting to stick with COREG, some Auto insurance etc blah blah. And I'm frustrated because I can't get enough volume for my coreg campaigns anymore.

So I'm creating a new Follow Along to get my ass hopp'in. I love when I did my 30 day Follow Along back then (see my signature link) - I hustled and worked 15+ hours per day straight consistently. Got shit done!

Why: I figure some of you out there may be on the same boat so I thought this would help all of us as I do a new Follow Along which will keep me accountable once again.

Problem: I don't know what to do next.

How you guys can help me: Maybe you guys can suggest and I'll decide in a few days and stick to it. I'll just list all that's on my mind below:

Traffic Source:
1. Facebook
2. POF
3. Mobile
4. Stick with PPV / TV(How and where do I scale if I continue with it?)

Offer:
1. Dating
2. COREG
3. Penny Auctions
4. Adult
5. Auto Insurance
6. Are there good evergreen offers that I should look into?

My history:

Started Affiliate Marketing 4 months ago - Done PPV only with TrafficVance running Coreg path promoting gift cards primarily. Did about $20,000+ revenue on GT and other networks. $90 / day average the last 2 months.

Currently: Profit is fluctuating $40-90 per day.

Goal for this month: Hit $250 / day consistently by Jan 31st 2012.
following month end: $500 / day
and the month after that: $1000 / day

Plan

Test fund: $100 / day ad spend limit

Thresholds- tba

I'll post as much as I can here including lander designs and data.

Thank you!

Yeah it happens to the best of us, we all get sidetracked from time to time.

Why don't you try to solve your volume problems with co-reg? Seems like you've had a good amount of success with it already.

Why not try to make it more sustainable, try a different angle, traffic source, new LP's, different path, etc...

Calling out to the OG's: Jordan, Besmir, Lorenzo, Martijn, Dan, Alex, Josh, Adrian, Morgan, and Paul and the rest of the Giants. You guys are the greatest teachers, the Sifu's. STM is my Shaolin Temple. I wish I trained here at a younger age. I'd be an ass kicking master monk by now. Thank you! Sorry I'm a little buzz at the moment

Thank you for the quick response. Those are excellent ideas. I just heard stories about coreg not working in Facebook? I mean people getting banned? Is this true? I don't know where to start with facebook. I'll read up on it.

Different paths? You mean Silverpath and Smiley and other coreg networks? Thanks

Hey Danny, I went through your follow along thread on co-reg and it really inspired me to get into co-reg myself, thanks for sharing it. I think the thing holding me back the most is the design and coding aspect of it all.

Facebook doesn't like mobile submit offers and since reg paths make most of their money off the pin submit I don't think Facebook would be a good choice unless you are able to get your hands on a solid cloaker. If you want to tackle facebook I would suggest starting with games and dating.

I've read that Smiley is a terrible co-reg company but have read good things about SP and fluent co, haven't tried any of them myself though. I've also read that you can play around with your headers and the number of offers on the path to optimize it and ask your AM to optimize the path for you every once in awhile.

Cool glad it helped. I initially hired a graphic designer / programmer but none of the beautiful designs got anything above 5% CTR. So I started doing my own designs and coding and got things done faster. The designs I made myself were really simple stuff - borders and solid colors. I think maybe it would be a good idea to hire one again and teach them what I have done to free myself from this routine.

Games and Dating - I'm so new to these. I'll research these as well.

danny27,

It's great to see that your getting yourself in check and posting here so you can take initiative! If you can get your focus back to the way you were killing it before, I have no doubt you will succeed.

For suggestions, I think POF is a great place to go for you. It's very affiliate friendly and it's great for beginners and intermediates like yourself. And if you decide to go with dating, POF is really great.

As for your goal, I'm not saying you won't achieve it whatsoever. I would just be a little more conservative with your profit numbers. $1,000 on any given platform that you haven't had experience before in 3 months is a tough feat. If you get there, AWESOME! You will feel great that you have way surpassed your goals if you set more conservative goals now. I just want to make sure you feel satisfied with the work you have done, not only based on the cash you've made.

-Tom

PS. lol @ our signatures

Hey thanks Tom. Those are kind words. I will now have to do my very best.

I'll try POF for the next 30 days Dating sounds like the most logical choice for there. What other stuff do people promote in POF?

Yeah this isn't the first time people have told me my goals should be more conservative. You guys may be right. I'll be happy to get to $250 / day consistent and keep it that way for 2 months and going forward.

Haha yeah our signatures lol I gotta just do it. Mine is intended to reflect at the end of each day of work and contemplate on How I can do better tomorrow compared to today.

Thanks Tom

Any time friend! Start a separate post with the POF follow along once you have gotten the basic stuff setup and have a campaign you want to run. I'll be following along.
