In your followalong looked like you were doing PropellerAds + ZeroPark?

How many traffic sources did you use to get your first $1000 profit day?

1 Traffic Source

Good that you say that.

As I already posted HERE there is no need to run on dozens of different sources.

1-2 good sources are enough to make good money.

That´s why it´s important to master a source forst before you jump from one source to the next.

Now I have to read through this follow along. If this is your 2-week progress, it is massively impressive. Congratulations @ayoupianist! And I'm so happy to see this $1000 on a screenshot from your Voluum dashboard

Many members are reaching such numbers, the sad part is that not many of them like to share their numbers... it's understandable of course, but I just wish more would post their results, to motivate the others

Well, its the nature of any forum... majority of the members just lurk and never post. Those who reach success think its not big enough to share it with the others... some prefer to keep it private. Thats the way it is and there is not much we can do about it. But based on the info I have, for every success story that gets posted, there are maybe 20 more who decide to keep it a secret, from one reason or another We, the mods, get the PMs and letters of appreciation for our help, so yeah, we can see how many people actually conquer the AM game here on the forum.

Makes complete sense.

Nature of the beast in many business circles unfortunately.

But you know what they say, "If you can reach one, it makes it all worthwhile".

I personally agree with that sentiment; if you get lost in conspiracies or "Guru Funnels" instead of fucking up as fast as possible, you'll never get anywhere.

I took on this endeavor recently with the expectation of never being able to succeed if I don't try.

Following my instincts, I rather place my bet with the countless years of experience here, where you don't pay $2,500 to see a simple case study like some people do; the value here is insane.

In my experience people who think their doing themselves a justice by hoarding information are the same people who will pay for it later.

Networking and community Is king in any business and crucial to growth.

I am just grateful I have my health, family and the opportunity to accomplish something here many people in the world don't have, people often forget that

Right, this forum is what it is... a storage of info from MANY people, not one guru, not two... you can literally witness dozens of people winning or failing, both options are possible and I really dunno which group you will fall into... but one thing stands and I will put my name on it, we will do everything possible to help you succeed. Just ask for the help!

That's why you guys are incredible,

I truly believe one of the most overlooked aspects of success is simply consistency, "Law Of Averages" so to speak.

That being said, looking forward to the opportunity to learn more from people like you.

Thank you for doing what not a lot of people do

The thing is that people tend to post more about negative stuff than about positive stuff.

This is pretty normal, it´s human nature and you can see it everywhere and not only here on STM.

Just imagine you want to buy a new car.

When you search for reviews and find some forums or so you mostly read much more about problems with the car than posts from people who are happy with it.

Usually people don´t just post "Hey, I am happy with car XYZ" and people don´t open threads just to tell that they have no problems with car XYZ.

When I check out a car that I want to buy I don´t try to find as many positive reviews as possible, I rather try to find cars with as less negative reviews as possible.

Mostly people only open threads when they have problems and are looking for help.

And same applies to STM, our users start follow alongs because they need some help and support on their way.

When then suddenly the follow alongs stop it always seems like they gave up or didn´t make it.

But often they suddenly found their golden ticket and then just don´t need the help anymore or don´t want to share the success because they are afraid of competition or so.

The follow along from ayoupianist is a very good example for it when you have sudden success as we can read HERE.

Luckily enough he was so kind to still update his FA with the new info and he opened this thread.

Otherwise we would never know about it and it would look like just another abandoned follow along where the user didn´t make it.

Another good example is THIS ONE.

There the user also stopped his follow along and 9 months later he updated it just to tell that he´s still there and that he found something that works for him.

Long story short, don´t get discouraged when you don´t see that many success stories.

More often than you think we have users that succeed and instead of bragging about it they often just go silent.

Well spoken and extremely insightful.

It is a shame that more people don't see it that way.

One of the things I was looking forward to the most coming into this industry, was having a community that I could not only learn and grow with, but I could build new relationships and meet individuals who hold each other accountable.

Unfortunately, money often changes people, or makes them more of who they are.

That being said people are often quick to forget the moments when they were "starving artist" filled with zeal and dreaming of whatever lifestyle means to them.

Yup, I personally saw STM always as a great place for networking and not that much to learn stuff for my personal campaigns.

Sure, happens pretty often and fast that you forget where you come from.

That´s also one of the reasons why I like to work with beginners, that reminds me then to stay grounded as well

Sometimes it´s just another very simple reason people become quiet: The new success also increases the workload so that they are more busy than before.

But I also don´t understand why so many members decide to stay in the background forever.

It´s so much more fun when you talk and exchange with other likeminded people and in best case it can also help alot to increase productivity and fasten the learning process.

I completely agree,

Worth mentioning is the irony and the paradox that lies in the the fact that people come for help because they realize they can't do it alone. Yet upon reaching what they believe to be the finish line, often retreat into solitude. Funny enough the end is often just the beginning.

I love your approach and statement on working with beginners.

I use to teach music theory and work with troubled youth. Funny enough, there are so many times I was having let's say, a personal rut, or feeling like I plateaued creatively. Then the next thing you know the energy or fresh perspective from someone just starting their journey put me right back on track, often to something greater.

The analyze and optimize nature of this whole industry actually applies to life as well, which strongly appealed to my nature.

People fight their nature all the time, we are all social creatures, you just need to find where your strentghs and community lie.

Every time I have conversations with you guys, sparks fly. Even having just turned 30, I feel that same feeling I felt as a kid when I discovered all the secret hacks in mario, played my first instrument and my first sport hahahah.

No matter where you go in life you'll be faced with community and people of all walks in life, business and personal.

The beauty and value I see in this, is the fact that not only are you able to have the opportunity to live life on your terms, but you get to do it with people that are truly unique.

I may never reach your level, but man the story I'll have to tell after this either way will be incredible

True words but not much we can do about it apart from being different

Try to keep that feeling for as long as possible.

You know, when I started with affiliate marketing I was also excited like a kid and I explored and tested so many different things.

I found my way several years ago already and nowadays I am rather fixed with what I do and although I really can´t complain I also can´t deny that the fun factor was much higher in the beginning

First I ran the smartlink 1 dollar tutorial.

Now I am starting the 40 day.

I plan on running sweeps and dating first, because I have been told it is the most beginner friendly.

10-20-2020 07:14 PM #44 twinaxe (Senior Moderator)

Feel free to also start a follow along, that way you can get direct help for your very own campaigns.

Sweeps yes, dating rather no

Dating advertisers can be very strict when it comes to quality.

It´s not that hard to get conversions for dating offers on pop traffic but it´s hard to maintain a good enough quality.

You can also check my approach on the $1 guide, you find it HERE

I basically took the idea of the $1 guide and added some own flavor to it.

It won´t make you rich but can make some nice first profits

Thanks for the awesome feedback!

What do you recommend on pop traffic to replace dating since I'm going to run sweeps?

I am for sure gonna try your version

I definitely like the idea of a follow along, sounds dope

I'm organizing and finalizing some things this week to get started, I know success loves speed so I want to start asap

Don´t get lost in organizing and stuff.

Don´t try to get everything perfect from the very beginning, it´s much more important to start testing instead of wasting time with preparation work.

Check THIS THREAD, it´s a pretty good read.

Start with someting rather easy to get used to the whole process of running campaigns.

You could also run push subscription offers on pops first, good way to make first few hunderd $$$ per month.

But most important is to start and don´t postpone it for too long

Sounds good, on it as we speak.

I will definitely be creating a follow along thread
