Dating offers allowed on FB? (28)

Dating offers allowed on FB?

What are you guys getting approved?

I'm mainly looking to run a Christian offer in the US.
Got a couple of my first ads through fine, now I'm just getting denied constantly.

Anyone know of some safe dating offers FB allows? I've heard Mature dating only and single parent meet. But I'd like to know if you guys know of anything else that gets through with no prob.
Ill only be running low volume ($50/day), so i might be safe with a b&s (maybe?), but I'm unable to get anything through.

Thanks for any info dudes.

Check the offer URLs at MyWoT. FB will (generally) deny ones that are red red red there making them require cloaking.
In general Be2 probably has the largest number of non-red domains, speeddate and singleparentmeet are yellow so borderline, will depend on your approver and you might get retro-disapproved later.

If you're not checking the landing pages with MyWoT you're shooting yourself in the foot.

Thanks Zeno. I'll be checking all LP's on mywot from now on.

You might also like to put in a couple of charity campaigns to get your approval rating up (low daily budget or even pause them if you prefer) - mind you I recently had a Unicef one disapproved probably because the reviewer that day had been bitten by an orphan).

I've heard of people doing that Dieter. Do you mean just set up a simple fan page for whatever kind of "charity" you want, and upload a mass of ads?

Yes exactly that - just start a fan page and then put together a few campaigns that link to it. Don't try to make any money off it, but direct link from there to the charity to show facebook you're a lovely person.

Interesting, looks like I’ll also have to set up a few non-aff campaigns. I am having very bad ad approval rate last days. The biggest PITA are Australian ads. I usually don’t get retro-disapprovals but with AU it happens every time if it’s approved in the first place. I finally tried setting interest in men or women (not All) and am waiting for their response. It has to be this, although I didn’t experience this requirement in other countries.

LOL I got one for an orphanage disapproved also... Maybe some reviewer lost his parents that day, who knows.

Yeah, you must select one or the other. Its stated in the dating section of their TOS. Had that issues when i first started pushing dating too.

@dieter thanks!

I'll post this question here also instead of creating a new thread.

I recently created an ad in the UK. When the offer is viewed out of the geo restriction it will show the koopik offer.
So the link underneath my headline is "koopik.com".

My question is, does this show for the UK residents also? Or does that link change based on the persons IP address? Otherwise i'm assuming someone outside the UK reviewed the ad...
Any insight on this guys?

edit: just checked via a uk proxy and it still shows the same link. how would i get the correct link to be shown?

i'm reading here ppl are still getting accounts nuked even with these charity accounts.... so i guess that doesn't really work eh?

I'm not certain, but I believe your link is set and you can't change it and that an outside the UK person did do the review.

Bummer. I just noticed it did the same thing on some gaming ads that i submit.
How irritating.

However, be aware that if you're running in France, there is no setting for this - I believe it's seen as discrimination to sort people by sexual pref. in France. Also I've heard gay offers are frowned on by FB, but that's something I can't actually confirm or deny.

I created a list of 10+ non -English dating offers. And 90% of them are RED on WOT.

So my question is: Is it enough to just use a LP with these offers? Or will FB still be a bitch and disapprove my LP because it’s linking to website with RED WOT rating? I’m asking because I don’t like to waste my time creating LPs that are then disapproved Thanks.

Why can’t advertisers think 3 steps ahead and just buy several domains for affiliates like us. :S

for offers that RED on WOT, i usually usa a LP with them. some ads got approved also some disapproved especial in weekend 100% disapproved last few weeks, exact same ads. if your ads got disapproved in minutes usually means its auto-disapproved, for this issues you need to edit(Flip Horizontal) your ads and resubmit.

^^I know what you mean. Happened same to me, then I edited pictures a bit and ads stayed paused for a day. Disapproved the next day
FB has some image recognition software auto checking all ads.

They need to just bribe some of the super users to get their site a green rating again. The users have been selling that shit under the table for awhile now.

Yeh I wish advertisers would do that. Would make them more money in the end.

Neither my AM at Neverblue nor my contact at be2 had heard of WOT, let alone how fb uses it.

I really can't understand why facebook would want to advertise with a piece of shit like myWOT. Don't they have a business to run?

A few lulz
http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/stmforum.com trololol stm has a lower child safety rating than 4chan.org

My AM at NeverBlue had a face-to-face meeting with Be2 yesterday. I asked him to check on the WOT rating issue. Be2 is aware of it and working on solutions.

I compiled the WOT scores for all the sites, if anyone is interested.

I asked my AM at Neverblue to raise the WOT issue with be2 as well and he (Roman) said any ideas about getting round/over/through/past WOT ratings would be gratefully received by be2.

Pay people on freelance sites to rate the sites up from unique IPs/accounts. See the end of this blog post - http://www.affhelper.com/mywot-reviews-exposed/

There are people out there who have the setup to game the system. If the system is already corrupt why not corrupt it more but in your favour? xD

Thanks zeno. I sent the link on to Roman at Neverblue.
