googole.com

guys are b-a-n-k-i-n-g.

I consider myself pretty well internet educated (10+ years of professional browsing), and when I first typed that typosquatter in I actually thought it might be legit, since it looks clean & is well-built. Needless to say when they asked for my # number I knew what was up.

If someone like me gets all the way to the last page just imagine how many people actually put their # number in there..

Guess we should search for the next google and typosquat those domains lol

I just got a C&D for type squatting last month

Wow that sucks ... there should be ways to mitigate the risk. Not mentioning the domain anywhere on the page, using bullet-proof hosting solutions (e.g. http://prq.se/ are known for this) and changing logos as much as possible while still instilling trust, like the goggle guys are using the wordpress favicon turned on its head

jan is a very good friend of mine if anyone wants intro there... There's a great write-up on him on DNJournal a couple of years ago.. He's heavy into TM + typos and then diversified into generics in the CZ market
