My road to consistent low $XX profit days. (15)

Hi to all STM community members,

5 months ago I joined this wonderful forum that changed my life. All I was doing all this time is re-reading different threads and follow-alongs for dozens of times and learning, learning, learning. Learning how to code and optimize landers was surely the hardest thing for me. It took me nearly 2 months to just to go through the codeacademy and w3schools courses recommended by Amy @vortex in his wonderful tutorial (not even close to 2 days assigned for it in the tutorial, haha ). The hardest part was to learn how a malicious code that steals your traffic should look like (I am not 100% sure even for now but I am glad I went through all of this).

Anyways, I can't staying in motion any longer and I am ready to take action (Thanks to @twinaxe for explaining a lot about motion vs action and for sharing this super motivational post about this topic). I am super motivated to finally start this venture.

I am starting with sweeps offers on pop traffic because its easy to learn and cheap to make mistakes. Once I gain more experience, I plan to eventually go to FB and earn some real money. I also plan to explore more aggressive verticals like nutra, gambling, adult, etc. But first I need to learn how to farm FB accounts and learn the ropes of cloaking.

I am starting this FA to be more accountable and disciplined as well as to share the experience with other STM members.

My goals in AM:
- reach consistent low $XX profit days in a month.
- reach consistent mid $XX profit days in two months.
- reach consistent high $XX profit days in three months.
- fly to AW Europe July 8-9 ONLY from my profits.
- after I gain enough experience in pop + sweeps, explore more aggressive verticals and traffic sources (FB).
- consistent $XXX profit days and making AM as my main job.
- moving to Bali.

My Inventory.
Offers.
I started with 5 sweeps SOI offers from Clickdealer in Thailand. Two of them are giftcards (7-eleven and Line), two of them Iphone 11 and one Iphone XS:

Landing Pages.
I have 2 landers for a giftcard (prizewheel and google reward questionnaire)
and 3 landers for Iphones (prizewheel, questionnaire and just a simple lander with Iphone image and button "participate in sweeps".

Traffic source.
I started 4 campaigns on PropellerAds.
Bid: Recommended CPM was $4.4 which actually was also almost the highest in the traffic chart. I went even more and set up Smart CPM at $4.5 just to pour some high-quality traffic and see if my offers+landers are able to convert.
Targeting: desktop + mobile, wifi (since its cheaper and better just to test if an offer converts).

My stats for today.

Thailand - sweeps seven-eleven
Thailand - sweeps Line
Thailand - sweeps Iphone 11
Thailand - sweeps Iphone XS

Tomorrow I am going to analyze the stats that I got today, see what I can optimize at this point, and probably test some more offers or rip new landers.

Hey there,

Great move to step out of the shadows and start a follow along.

About the offers, they are very good to start with because of the low payouts.
Use such offers to get used to the process of setting up and running campaigns.
That way you can learn the basics without the risk to lose too much money

But to make real profit there such low payout offers would have to convert very good.

So when you see that these low payout offers don't convert good enough better move up a level to slightly higher payouts when you feel ready for it.
That can cost a bit more in the beginning but it's still easier to make profit on a normal converting offer with $1 payout than with a normal converting offer with $0.30 payout.

Can you please post a screenshot or picture from that lander?

I suspect that this is one of the landers you see for many Geos and high volume on Adplexity.
But the landers I am talking about don't work at all, they are just the WH landers from cloaked campaigns.

Better don't mix desktop and mobile together.
Just start with mobile WiFi traffic.

Yes, that's the lander I meant.

Forget about it, this lander is only used in cloaked campaigns as WH lander.

And better don't use the Google lander with the original logo.
Your campaigns will most probably get rejected and even when you get it running your domain will probably get flagged pretty fast.

TH does well with the spinners, so I would definitely use those.

I have not tested quiz landers in TH, but they may perform even better, so definitely test.

This lander actually made 1 conversion ($0.30 payout) out of $1.79 spent. But I don't have enough statistical data to prove that it works so I better follow your recommendation and just stop this lander.

Flagged domain can be a big problem. I will replace the original logo. I see in many landers that the owners just replace "Google" logo with just a big "G" letter logo. Would that be enough to deal with this problem?

Hi all!

Following @vortex 's guide, I identified the offer for testing landers (the one that reached 2 conversions first). It was 7-eleven offer. It turned out that I had only 2 landers for gift card offers so during the last 5 days I ripped and fixed 3 more landers.

I changed the campaign to target only mobile wifi traffic, reduced smart CPM from 4.5 to 2.8.

During the last 3 days I cut 3 landers so we have now 2 landers. One of the landers is showing -44% ROI.
Will wait another day or two for the winner lander. Then I will start to test offers heavily. Plan to find all gift card offers in Thailand on different affiliate networks. there are only 3 of them on clickdealer, so I will check Gotzha and Mobidea and if there are no such offers, will search for more affiliate networks.

I also did cut 5 placement that were in loss by 2x payout.

quick update for today. I finally have the winning lander. Now I am researching affiliate networks to apply to SOI sweepstakes offers in Thailand.

I researched this forum for the affiliate networks as well as used tools www.offervault.com and affplus.com to find networks. Do you know more tools where I can search offers / aff. networks???

- cpa affiliate networks (CAN)
- evoleads
- adsmain
- adexico
- sinum vendo
- affiliaxe

I already said it in other threads, when you work with so low payout offers they have to convert very good to make it worth it.

So when you test them and they don´t convert good enough to be profitable don´t spend too much time on it.
Then better move on and test something else.

The thing is, on Clickdealer all the sweeps offers in Thailand have the $0.3 payout. I doubt other networks have much higher payouts in Thailand for sweeps.

Do you suggest changing the geo then? Or probably try to find Thailand sweeps with higher payouts on other affiliate networks?

TH $0.75 payout. YepAds will approve you almost immediately if you contact the AM mentioned.

No different than running sweeps, just go get a lander and start running traffic

You can even use your existing WL/BL that you've been building and get some good results right away.
