How to avoid Facebook ban?
Facebook is not affiliate friendly and does not seem to support affiliate links. How to stay safe without getting a ban. I have run just one campaign worth $100 for my dropshipping site with a sale of $20. But now I get to hear that Facebook is hard on dropshipping sites now and banning them. Nothing has happened yet though.

Short answer ... keep customers happy, satisfied and meet their expectations.
Facebook is asking your buyers about Product Quality, Shipping and Customer Service and this is called Customer Feedback.
In case that you have very poor rating this they can ban you account at one point.
You can check you Customer Feedback score here: https://www.facebook.com/ads/customer_feedback/
But as a new store it will take some time before FB gives you a score.
Don't promise them something you can't deliver, try to deliver the products as fast as you can, and make everything you can to close customer support ticket as soon as possible.

Thank you! But what about getting a ban for promoting CPA affiliate links?

Using affiliate links means certain risk for sure, even a tracker can cause trouble. But in the end, it all comes down to what wakeboarder mentioned above... you need to stick to legit offers, the customers must receive what you promise them and you have to abide to the rules of FB, which means that large part of affiliate CPA offers are simply not accepted by them and you cannot run them on FB.
And even if you run 100% whitehat offers, you can still get banned by FB as the rules are vague in many cases and the automatic system they have in place make mistakes. The good thing is, that in case of really legit offers, you can appeal and get your account back sometimes... but again, there are no guarantees. FB is simply like that, they ban pretty randomly sometimes.

@matuloo Yeah, I got banned every time tried to run an ad last year. Like about a dozen times. Then I got 2 factor login enabled to my account and then it went fine and I ran about $100 worth of ads. But haven't used FB ads again since then. But as you said, I have heard the same thing about them that they ban pretty randomly sometimes, especially if you are a small brand. Some 'guru' advised that if you enhance your brand it's less likely I will be banned randomly. I just wanted more thoughts on that here. FB seems pretty messed up and risky, but retargeting there seems lucrative... In case of a ban, so I stand to lose any advertising money? I guess they bill afterwards and it's different from buying native and push ads credit we buy beforehand.

Yeah they're really clamping down on the shipping promises, so best to make sure the customer isn't ready for a 1 day delivery that comes 10 days later haha
Definitely work on adjusting shipping times in future to stop negative feedback on the page... will lead to ban when heavily weighted to the negative experience

Thanks for the helpful tips! Any suggestions on using Facebook for affiliate marketing/CPA with them clamping down on affiliate links? My understanding is that Facebook ads is expensive, but if used rightly is the cheapest, best, and most effective compared to any other form of advertising on earth.
