generating Email Addys
im new to AM I would like to get into building an email list. I don't want to violate can spam or any other US laws. Is it possible/legal to post a sweep or some other lead gen for affiliates on marketplace to get me the email addies. that way I pay .XXXX penies for email addresses or fractions of pennies?

What kind of marketplace are we talking about?
And what kind of lead gen for affiliates?
Also: How are you planning on monetizing these leads?
This post may be of interest - it contains basic info on how some of the sweeps offers are monetized:

Allow me to apologize in advance if my verbiage is subpar. When I wrote marketplace I meant on an, Affiliate Network. I would like to get into a specific dating niche. Now i'm a newb but it seems to me that I would have a better chance at success emailing these offers.
So in short, and again please excuse me if I sound like an idiot or overzelous.
1.I put out a sweep campaign where OTHER affiliates do the lead gen and I pay out.
2.Once I get a nice sized list im thinking 10k I start connecting with the list making sure I have decent engagement
3.Attempt to monetize my offers
Of course I know there is a lot more that goes into than that. I cant start emailing without any emails. I think seo will take too long, doing my own pop to my own offer probably won't work (for me at least) because I would imagine that would take a lot of infrastructure much more than a newb like me is ready to handle. FB/IG is really sketch for the dating vertical from what I've been reading.
PS
To all the Affiliate Gods please dont look at me like a complete dummy Im new to this but Im in it for the long haul, I will level up with time. I just really think email is the way to go for me for now.

You can definitely create your own offer and list it with affiliate networks. In this case you would become an advertiser.
BUT, it's not that easy. Affiliate networks work with 100s of advertisers and they have certain requirements that you need to meet. I mean, they won't just list any offer out there.
To put it simple, you need to "have your shit in together" so to speak.
You need to know how much you can afford to pay for a lead, which means you need to have the monetization process mastered already... otherwise you will lose money.
You need to know how to detect fraudulent traffic and leads, otherwise you will end up paying for fake leads and lose money again.
You will likely have to prepay for the leads at first, the network won't take the risks of not getting paid, since you'd be new with no history.
Your infrastructure has to be in order and able to take an increased load of traffic, otherwise you'd be facing downtime and lose money again.
Running your own offer is a great option and a scalable one, but it's like running a tight ship so you better know what you are doing
I would definitely recommend to test all steps yourself first, by buying traffic from the sources out there and only once you are 100% optimized would I take it to affiliate networks.
