Hey guys!
Just opened a new user once again here...I have been a member of this forum on and off for the past 7 years I think...Made some huge money in the first 1-2 years, then it stopped completely due to some personal issues. Then I was forced to get a 9 to 5 day job to be able to maintain myself. Throughout this whole time while I was employed in that 9-5 job I was always thinking about getting back to internet marketing but my mind was just so full of the b.s I had in my job which killed completely my creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
Then a few days ago I decided that enough is enough! Yes I was making a decent money in my 9 to 5 day job but I felt it was killing me from the inside, slowly but surely. I had to put an end to it asap while my brain can still think clearly.
Now I have all the time in the world to think about how to make it again in the IM world. Would really really appreciate anyone here who can direct me to some good resources, I feel like this IM world has evolved so much while I was off, I have really no idea where to look and what to do first...
I was making a really good money from adult traffic and dating back then (until it got too saturated), also diet worked pretty well with paid ads but now I believe it's a totally different world....
Will be very grateful for any tips and direction from you people.
What's the budget?
And good job man! You got balls. I wish you all the best
Thanks man!
I have around 20k$ to play with
Any suggestions?
@nomore9to5 beside the budget it would be good to share also a few words about your skills with IM and tech in general.
How did you earn money when you started? Maybe you can use some of your old skills, upgrade them and start making money again.
Anyway, tell us more about you and we will be able to provide and guide you more in detail ...
EDIT: It’s really great that you have 20k budget. You can definitely build great things with this amount.
Hey @wakeboarder , thanks for your reply
My skills are nothing too special...I was making very good money back then with simply promoting adult dating, using the good old prosper202 tracker (does it still exist?) . I made the most out of it until it stopped being profitable for me...from 1k profit a day to literally zero profit or even a loss...
While I was working in my 9-5 day job mainly what I was doing was to sell stuff over the phone...insurances and stuff...Good money but you have to fight for every penny you make each and everyday, you don't really build up yourself...it's not what I'm believing in...I believe in creating your future with your business, working for others can be good for a certain period of time but not for life...
Somehow my initial instinct tells me to go into the FB/IG world...creating some groups/pages and built it up to the point where it will make me a good money on autopilot one day. I see all those influencers who charge huge money for just posting once a week on their profile, this is kinda what I was hoping to have one day.
So..any ideas what should I do in order to turn these 20k into 40k within a year or so?
Welcome back @nomore9to5!
Wow - quitting your job first and then trying to figure out how to make things work requires courage.
Since you've been out of the industry for so long, the first thing I would suggest that you do, is to read this report:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...Marketing-2019
Creating FB groups and pages or ANY list (email, SMS...) is always a good idea, assuming the list is targeted and you keep subscribers engaged. But understand that when you use FB, your pages/groups are at the mercy of FB and if for any reason they decide one day that they no longer like you, you could get the ban hammer just like that and lose everything overnight. It doesn't mean it's not a great way to build a list - but the risk, however small, is there.
Here's another creative way to build a list on FB - by using chatbots:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-64-in-one-day
Go read that report above, do some research to narrow things down, then please let us know what options you're considering, and we'll do our best to give more feedback.
Have fun!
