Cloaked Accounts: How long do they last?
Just wondering how long your cloaked accounts are lasting you.
I have campaigns cloaked for a month of so, running low volume ($200-$500 a day)
Blew through another account in 4 days running $1500 a day
Blew through another one in 2 days running $1800 a day.

anywhere from 1 week to 3 months or more
make sure you cover the basics - ie nothing ties back to your old account -> ie people get new domains for their trackers but forget that its still hosted on the same IP as their banned account
at the end of the day a couple of complaints about your ad and facebook will just ban you so its a bit like russian roulette

i know with storm you can buy several IPs with your server for only $1 per ip. ontop of that you can just clone your existing server to a new one which will give it a new ip. all you then need to do is poit your new domain to your new ip

alot depends too on the cloaker your using and the type of ads you run....the more legit the ad the less issues you will have....fb alot of times banns without even seeing the real lp just based upon the fact that they suspect it....

Does FB really check the IP of your server?
Been running my second account with the same tracking URL for a month now and it's still alive.

Correct, we use a pretty sophisticated cloaker and have tested FB's limits. A lot of the times they don't even see the "real" LP and they ban the account simply due to complaints and "suspicious activity"
A lot of it is actually from noob affiliates who don't know how to cloak and are jealous they can't get their ads up.

How do you fund these Cloaked accounts ppl?

most cloaked accounts go down because of user complaints. If enough users give negative responses and provide written explanations why... you're account will be banned whether they can see the cloaked url or not.
@alpha matt - fund the accounts like you would any new account. New Credit card, new ip, etc. etc.

this is the reason 90% of accounts get banned.....esp if your lp is off fb...as it opens in a new window....and if people go to flog or something thats clearly not what the ad says it is.....its very very easy for them to just to go back to the fb page and report your ad....
you would be surprised at how many people complain....its much more than you think

If you're cloaking and popping out of a fan page I personally think it's very important to limit the activity that is allowed on your page. Don't allow wall posts, comments, etc. Delete everything that someone can comment on like profile photos / albums, even the "Page has started using Facebook" wall item that is added when you create a new page (people can comment on that).
When people start navigating around your page and they see negative things it most likely just validates their irritation and fuels their desire to go a step further and complain. If they jump around your page and don't see anything they're probably more likely to just disregard it and move on.

We used to get at least a 1-2 month run out of each account, but lately had the banhammer come down within the first couple days on a couple agency accounts. Recently had one run hard on diet from end of March all the way through Thanksgiving and survive a bunch of ads getting retro'd even. I'm wondering if the flurry of network newsletters encouraging noobs to cloak rebills on fb all day is exhausting reviewers' patience as it's been harder and harder to get good ads across lately.
