Anybody use lotsofads.com?
Curious if anybody's used lotsofads.com for fb? I tried out a demo account and it looks like most of the ads it scrapes are run-of-the-mill corporate ads as opposed to affiliate ads. Not sure if it's worth shelling out $500 a month or so for all countries.
Seems like there aren't many good scrapers out there with international ads available unless anyone knows of any?

the one here thats free I believe is in the process of getting rebuilt......as far as lots of ads are concerned.....its a ok service and I have used it with all countries but it doesn't seem to scrape a huge volume of ads and you really can't get more info than just the 1 ad your looking at....I like the one here in the forums better...

Hi polarbacon!
When PPC.bz made a post we had
over 400,000 ads scraped. That was back in September. We have since added more countries, improved loading times significantly and removed repeat ads. Right now we have ads in the
United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Brazil, Australia and Argentina. Australia and Mexico were added free of cost recently, so excuse there only being a few thousand ads there while it picks up steam. We haven't had downtime like our competitors and our service is only going to continue improving.
I'm not sure what you mean by more information other than the one account you're looking at. If you could elaborate on this more, I can make sure the issue is sorted.
I'm going to make a post here in the coming days on how to make the most out of our tool. I'm confident when properly used, there's nothing out there that provides more bang for the buck. You could pull a top offers list today, plug them it into our tool and see how people are making it profitable in seconds.. I welcome any feedback, suggestions, criticisms. It'll only make our service better!

Your "Take The Tour" button goes to the payment page. I'm assuming it's not supposed to do that.

awesome your here....and I no way I was being a dick to your product I use it and its decent but let me comment on what its lacking/issues...and feel free to correct me if I am wrong....
a big one right off that bat....your tool is case sensitive....I have no idea why that is the case....or how that's of any help....and to be frank its super annoying......but if there is a reason for it I am all ears.....
one thing the tool here in the forum does is allow you to search all the profiles that image was used across..or all the profile that ad was used across.....that is a HUGE feature that don't see yours having....
also I like the sorting better with the one here in the forum I find it much easier to sort data like that in a table as opposed to your format...which makes me go thru page after page of ads
but its not all bad....the # countries you have is awesome....

I had no idea this was the case, and I agree that case sensitivity is pointless.. No one had pointed it out in the past. This will be fixed by tomorrow. Thank you!

We have this feature too! On the image you're interested in, right-click, and copy the image URL. Paste that full URL into the "IMG URL" field and search. Viola! You'll see all the profiles across which the particular image was shown, just highlight your mouse over the ads for targeting information - Age groups, gender, relationship status, times it was seen, when it was seen last, days it's been running, etc. This of course wouldn't be functional in the "demo" account since the images are censored with one static image.
You can also search for ads that contain a specific phrase ("Want to meet singles?") or word ("singles") in the headline or an ad copy. Again, just highlight your mouse over the ads in the results for targeting information.
I feel what we may be lacking is proper documentation on how to use Lots of Ads. The tool is very powerful, but I feel some of our clients may be unaware of all the features.

We have this feature as well. Just change the ad format when searching from "summary" to "detailed", and it'll display the results exactly like that.

If you're referring to the number of ads shown per page, we can integrate this by the weekend that would allow you to select the number.
Thanks for all the feedback so far, please keep it coming!

It is, just sign up for "Ad Database Demo (FREE)". It won't ask for any payment information right now.
I was going to mention this in my feature post, but since I don't want early biters to miss out..
Use "STM11" to get 10% off Lots of Ads for life! It's valid for the first 20 paid subscribers.

the worst part about the lotsofads trial is images are masked and so is every other sentence. So you can't really test drive it.. I'd rather pay $ for a fully functional trial..

I understand, but with a nominal trial price we're arming too many of our paid clients' competitors.. Plus, there would be a range of other issues around people exploiting an uncensored trial. The point of the "demo" is just to show the main features, and that the tool actually works with hundreds of thousands of ads in the database.
Our cheapest package is $200/month for the United States, with a 10% discount that's just $180/month to test it out uncensored. If it meets your expectations, you can upgrade anytime to the other packages.

^ I hear you but your competitor WRW + MixRank both offer paid trial.. In fact MixRank is like $7 or $15 for 2 weeks... I'm sure I'm not the only one who signs up for a cheap trial and forgets to deactivate so your CVR will be higher imho
as for "arming" I've addressed that on my first sentence

WRW and Mixrank are different than LotsofAds.com. LotsofAds only scrapes Facebook, while the former two scrape other display networks.
