🥚3 Pinterest Advertisers You Must See Before You Die
Hi guys!
I would like to share 3 stores that are doing well on Pinterest. Their ads are springing up like mushrooms after the rain.
You can check their creative, stores and Pinterest profiles. Also, you can read my comment for each store about other interesting things I noticed.
liligal.com [Fashion store]

Comment: It looks like this store is getting A LOT of traffic. They are very active as we have in our database 100+ of their ads. They are scaling in GEOs that Pinterest opened in the previous weeks (France, Germany). I see a lot of ads plus-size women's clothing.
CUPSHE [Fashion store] GERMANY
Comment: As you can see from the above
cupshe.com opened German version
de.cupshe.com and Pinterest in it looks like Pinterest is their main traffic source in Germany. It make sense to sell Swimsuits in Europe right now because summer is already knocking on the door.
DRESSHELIKE [Fashion store]
Comment: We detected this advertiser just a day or two days ago. If you look on SimilarWeb data from which GEOs they are receiving the most traffic ... top5 are countries where Pinterest in present. Again, this are speculations based on public available data and data we collected, but I strongly believe this is true.
From now on I will share every Monday new interesting stores that you can inspire from and get some overall idea what people are pushing on Pinterest.
I'm preparing also once cool analysis where I will show how number of Pinterest
Shopify advertisers are increasing over time. I'm learning to write SQL queries on my own so it takes some time.
I hope this helps and stay tuned for more Pinterest related content. Not just ads and creatives, but also more technical stuff related to media buying.
Happy easter to all who celebrate it!
Cheers,
wakeboarder

Very interesting report thanks Tim!
Plus-sized clothing may still be an underserved niche. Many people (especially in the tier 1/2 geos) are overweight. If you can sell clothes that will fit well AND look nice (preferably make them look thinner) then people will beat down your door to buy.

Very true! I'm following the journey of the top local lingerie eshop in my country, they came out of nowhere couple years ago and now they are dominating the market pretty much. Their ads are everywhere and they are retargeting like crazy, pairing it with a very aggressive email follow up campaigns, offering discounts/free shipping/special sales etc... pretty much daily. And the interesting part, all the products they are pushing in these campaigns are presented by models that are everything but model-slim. I wouldn't say overweight either, but certainly full-bodied or chubby... so it obviously works extremely well for them. And it's not "interest/past purchase retargeting" either, since I ordered some stuff from them for my wife, who wears the "S" size.
So yeah, there is a huge market out there to be conquered

I want write SQL queries without asking and waiting for developers to do this for me. When analyzing big data sets I think it's the easiest way to write a SQL query, export data into Excel and visualize it with charts or graphs.
Yes, my team and I are behind the Adnalytics.

Exactly! Like you mentioned, it's something different because 90% of the all creatives are "pixel perfect" creatives models. Similar like clipart ads in general has higher CTR on Facebook. One of the main reasons is because most advertisers don't think about this type of creative.
