Should I get Clickfunnels or Landerbolt?
Hello guys, I'll be using either of them for landing page creation. Which one is better? Can you list the pros & cons of each?

They are pretty different tools. If you are looking to just run affiliate campaigns then landerbolt would be better. Click funnels pages are pretty slow loading compared to a regular landing page.

For landing pages, most often you'd be ripping and innovating based on that anyway, so landerbolt will help with that, not clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels is great for ecom though!

Just as a follow up, i mentioned to a friend of mine that I was looking at landing page builders. He said they generally produce universally slow landing pages, is this a known consequence?
Is it something i could combat by working on my skills across various methods of enhancing load speed or would I always be at a deficit?

Can you please clarify which landing page builder produces slow landing pages?

Hey Amy,
thanks for taking a look at this. Tbh I'm unable to give any more details than that, he said it as a pretty offhand comment so I thought maybe it was like an industry wide problem with landing page builders, but if it's not something that you're familiar with I'll stay optimistic.
The one I was looking at personally was lander bolt, is it a builder you're aware of being fit for purpose?

Ah OK! I believe what your friend was referring to is the fact that most landing page builders have a lot of redundant code that can slow down loading time.
AFAIK, that is inevitable when you're dealing with a WYSIWYG type of builder. Upside is the drag-and-drop / ease of use, downside is redundant code that can slow things down.
What type of traffic are you running though? It may be easier to just rip landers and fix the errors in the code that results from the ripping.

Ahhh that would definitely make sense, I'm running purely pop traffic to begin with so speed is of the essence. I'm probably getting ahead of myself, I started working my way through the code academy courses but thought this might be a way to shortcut the learning curve to competently editing and fixing outside landers.

Ah gotcha!
Yeah I understand learning coding can be scary. I wished there was a faster way too.
There ARE a couple of shortcuts actually:
1)Check out the Lander Depository:
https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...age-Depository
I REALLY need to find time to put up another batch of landers - but landers don't go "out of style" very quickly, so you can find stuff in there that still works very well.
2)If you're running sweeps offers, @
twinaxe's ultimate sweeps lander can help:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-sweeps-lander
You may still need to make minor edits, but they would be easier than to fix up a 'freshly-ripped' lander.

To test LP speeds you can use
https://gtmetrix.com/
or
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Why not taking a look at Amazon S3 + Route 53 + CloudFront? its lighting fast and extremely cheap. Is a bit more complicated from a technical standpoint but in the long run i think its a double win since you learn the basics of coding.
Vortex wrote an amazing guide on how to setup on Amazon S3 on her 18th day of the 40 days guide (2019)

Thanks so much for referring to that lesson @
mangow!
Coincidentally I've JUST updated that lesson today!

So the instructions are up-to-date now!
