What up everyone... Idk if I am putting this thread in the right place or not... but I'ma start a "follow along" thread of all the campaigns I'm doing.

I'm pretty new to this so I figured I'd post everything I'm doing and not hold back, more feedback I can get early on about my thoughts/process the better it'll help me be later on... and if by any means what I do triggers some kind of idea to make you some monies than that'll make me happy too (just kick over like 10% of all profits ).

First Campaign

Vertical - Dating

Offers - Gonna start with Mate1 - Latina LP (should I rotate offers?)

Network - Wolfstorm

Landers - made a simple lander: http://www.onlinedatinsites.info/attnlp1.php nothing clicks on this version (didn't want a bunch of people clicking and messing up my stats ;-), but on the actual page I made the picture, the top banner and the button clickable.

Angle & Targets - going after people looking for the best dating sites, sites with the most girls, people just getting out of relationships... will post actual targets once I get all of them, just wanted to get this post up asap.

PPV Sources - Direct CPV and Traffic Vance

So that is what I'm going to start with. Once I get everything approved on TV & DirectCPV I'll update everything and show my results.

Thats a nice lander. Since targeting "best dating sites" etc. maybe you could ad a "Top Rated" icon on the lander, Facebook like button or something that gives the pop a little more authority. Just a suggestion

Hey Adam,

Awesome start!

You should definitely rotate your offer with another.

Also I would rotate a couple of landers. Add audio on one add dynamic URL call out on another.

You have the geo ip set, but it doesn't stand out as much as it should. I'd beef it up a little.

here are some suggestions for an alternative lander



also you could try swapping image to the right.

the text with the geo call out is not a clear to read. maybe change it to:

"Start Dating Girls In [Town] Now"
"See What Dating Sites Actually Work"

And maybe change "Actually Work" to "To Use"

cool lander for a starters, really, ugly enough

i'd set geo in headline like "Attention New York!" .. "This site WILL get you HOT dates".

or "Attention!" ... "Get HOT dates in New York tonight!" ... "DatingOffer.com ACTUALLY WORK, that's why we have so many female members ", etc.

just an idea.

Thanks Stock! Great idea, I didn't do the Top Rated thing, but I am gonna also make a email campaign/comparison lander talking about multiple dating sites (see if I can get them to sign up to more than 1 at a time) and will definitely use that there! But I did take the facebook like button idea... added a lil javascript counter magic that increments the number of how many likes there are every 5 seconds... if there's an interest in that script from anyone lemme know and I'll upload it!

Whats up Mr. Green! Thanks for the tips... I added a little something to the geo script. When it comes to rotating offers on top of rotating landers, my brain starts rotating, I get mad confused. I know how to rotate landing pages, and have a script for that, but I have no clue how to rotate offers on top of rotating landing pages.

Should I just rotate between two landers and then once I see which is best, rotate between two offers on that lander? Or is there a way to rotate offers on rotating landers, and keep that in rotation .

Damn I feel like I broke the world record for saying some form of the word "rotate" in a post... somebody call Guiness book of World Records and get me a shiny plaque!

Aight I'ma rotate on outta here and get crackin out some campaigns... got idea I'm use in this thread for another campaign with the Jersey Shore... almost done with the LP, will post that one soon.

You recommend testing everything at once, like a multivariant testing or just doing like some a/b testing to start and then working up to that?

Lol....man those were for you to show what i would do - ie shrink the image a bit. Move the "This Site Will Get You Dates" up as a sub title, and the arrow to the button was to say "test it with a flashing button".

But - by all means - test my graphic

Quick update... I've gotten like 200 impressions on 310 targets so far... so nothing really to report, I'ma spend today coming up with other creatives for it and adding new targets... any ideas as to a good range of targets for this Latina Dating Campaign?

So I threw up another campaign yesterday, got some inspiration from the jersey shore fight scandal that's in the news... here is a quick breakdown:

Vertical - Email-Submit
Offers - Vicky Secret $500 (for the laaadieess) and iPhone 4 (guys and girls really)... these are rotating on different LP's
Network - Wolfstorm

Here are my LP's... please rip these to shreds cause I don't really think they're that good, I just threw them up to get something running.

1: more girly lander
2: more guyish lander

I'm not getting too much traffic with this just bidding on Jersey Shore sites and terms (including the mtv sites) so I'm gonna start broadening the targets I think

But anyway, when I got updates on my other mate1 campaign I'll post those, and thanks for the feedback!

Would you guys use similar landers for facebook or pof traffic? I dont see why PPV landers would be bad for ppc traffic from fb and pof? Only difference is maybe add a form from aweber and then send them to the offer....

The important difference is that with pof/facebook the lander needs to be a logical next step from the ad. Whereas with PPV its all interruption marketing and the popup is the first thing they see.

So although it can work, make sure the sequence from ad > lander > offer remains sensible and logical.

And be careful with using too much animation and effects on your lander if you plan to use the same one for pof and fb. In PPV it works most of the time, but with Fb/PoF you have the users attention and therefore its more important to focus on preselling the offer and getting them to click through with a strong Call to Action.

Hey Daksneezian, I had about 1200 url's and keywords all relating to the jersey shore, and the situation, and ronnie, and snooki and j-wow and actually was only getting like 100 impressions a day, and after speaking to my AM I decided to go with different offers.

I'ma start 2 new campaigns for these though...

one is with Groupon @ Ads4Dough
one is with Eden Eternal @ WolfStorm

Gonna get these follow alongs up asap, and any advice/feedback you guys have would be great! Thanks!
