Newb question.. But i'm not a noobie. How long does it take to optimize campaigns??

I've been doing affiliate marketing for over 5 years now and haven't hit 1 single profitable offer for more than a couple days.. biggest problem I face is offers taking a dive after first few days of testing.. Only campaign I profited was mypcbackup and that was only 2 days, then the offer just nosedived conversion wise.

Ok, back to my original question.. how long do you successful affiilates take to optimize an offer on ppv? I find it hard to optimize when i can't keep anything converting consistenly..

Also, should i test offers for more than 2-3 times offer payout? alot of times offers may only convert at certain times during the day or specific days or only weekends.. How do i test properly without blowing through 1k on an offer?

Thanks

what traffic source? although I can only assume it's irrelevant.. to be 5 years in the game not hitting a single campaign is a big RED flag.. I'd spend 30 days mastering one traffic source (i.e. FB or PPV) and I'd go right now and read the 40 day affiliate guide published here

good luck and don't give up.. not just yet it sounds like you need to reset all your learning and tactics at this point and start fresh

thanks, wise words i'm using LI ppv traffic mostly for last few years

to be honest, i've actually hit many potential successful campaigns, but either get scrubbed or don't have any volume so I'd end up pausing it

I'm having the same problems with a lot of the offers as well. I've had some offers where the cvr is doing pretty good in the beginning then after a handful of conversions the cvr will take a nosedive while clicks keep piling up. What do you do here? Keep testing till you have thousands of clicks? I don't want to keep sending in clicks in hopes that the CVR will somehow get better with more clicks. A lot of the offers I've had doesn't convert consistently and it gets pretty frustrating.

Ignore the CSB's, when you put something up be sure to run that offer with 2 or 3 networks assuming you find one that is converting somewhat. Chances are you're overthinking one part of launching a campaign and getting to creative. Just keep it simple, test variables and you'll see profits.

Ok, yeah I've only messed with weekly payout networks because of my low budget so that could def be a problem. Thanks!
