No Traffic For Nutra..Why?

Hey guys, so I’m an adv for a couple straight sale nutra products, specifically in the Keto niche and I’m hoping someone can shed some light.

We’re listed on a dozen networks, and we’re getting almost no traffic. It’s not a matter of poor conversion, it’s a matter of people just not running it. My question is can anyone shed some light? Is this industry wide?

I feel like I must be missing something for us to be so completely missing the mark. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions they’d be greatly appreciated, but mostly I’m just trying to see if I can understand why we’re having this issue. Are big affiliates not running straight sale? Is everyone just doing in-house marketing, or are we just missing the target? Any insights would mean a lot guys. Thanks!

Basically that man, they're all focused on trial offers and rotating those caps before running any straight sale, most of the time the epcs are no where near comparable and considering theres been widespread squeeze on margins over the industry this year, and also more difficult to run nutra products that straight sale doesn't work for a lot of affiliates metrics. Not sure it will get better with Q4 ad pricing as well.

I don't think there is no traffic for Nutra, I just think it can be a pretty hard offer to properly monetize. It's a totally vertical that you need to run with a bit more experience. So most affiliates prefer i think to go for a vertical they know can yield faster results. But once you get Nutra and you know how to run it and on what traffic source, it's totally worthwhile.

FB is pretty good for nutra offers. Have you tried this kind of traffic source?

It's my understanding that the one of the top offers right now for nutra is a keto SS, at least on Jumbleberry, and has been for some time this year.

In my experience a good straight-sale can outperform a trial if its payout in relation to its cost to the consumer is solid, typically something that's above the 2nd tier package pricing. Is your payout competitive with other similar offers?

Perhaps some other keto SS offers are taking all the spotlight?

You could reach out to one of the networks you work with and see if they can get a test going with one of their affiliates doing volume, preferably a guaranteed EPC test as that's what affiliates like.

Yeah we’ve been speaking with JB and according to them there’s no real cap for straight sale. I guess I’m really just surprised, but that’s probably partly my ignorance of the affiliate side. Plus every network we’ve listed with either doesn’t have the traffic or can’t convince the affs to try the offer. Hard to know which b/c the networks seem to be pretty vague with information to begin with. Just wish I knew what the exact problem was.

Keto is a niche that Google has been slamming hard the last several months. I have several close friends who were doing almost $100,000 a day in keto conversions, then had their accounts shut down overnight.

There's a lot of competition out there for Keto products right now. Losing MIDs has been an issue for many advertisers, too. I know many affiliates who have shied away from running newer offers because they don't know if the offer will be live long enough to scale.

I do think you'll see a bump in business come January 1st. New Year's is a goldmine for everyone in nutra!
