I just launched some new mobile campaigns and the interface on the stats lags so far behind.
It's really tough to gauge how much I'm actually spending in terms of CPC or judge CTRs in real time.
Ended up spending wayyyyy more than I wanted to on a couple of campaign due to the lag.
Sorry this is just a rant lol
Edit: I guess to make this useful to the forum I'd advise setting a budget cap when launching a mobile campaign in a large geo on TJ for the first time (particularly mobile headers).
Yup, I feel your pain ... I'm just waiting for some stats to display on a bunch of freshly launched mobile camps on TJ now ... and even then, I know it's gonna be crappy as it needs several hours to actually start showing reliable numbers. And to see a full day of stats, we need to wait some more. The painful campaign setup process ... huge amount of time wasted while waiting for anything to load .. well, at least their traffic quality is ok
But yes, I wish they would simplify their UI one day and make it faster.
Yeah.. its a lot data guys, just imagie whats happening behind the scenes... but yeah, i agree, with all the $$$ yhey make, they should invest in more powerful hw infrastructure, programmers etc..... and why da heck cannot we freq cap mobile traffic? It does not make sense. Except for them, salespeople.

Yeah considering they manage the biggest adult sites their interface in my opinion is unacceptable.
Almost every other platform I use has quick real time stats, they need to invest some profits into better programmers.
I would probably spend more if they had a good user interface, as to be honest some spots in my opinion are almost impossible to optimize because the stats are so laggy/buggy.
Especially in adult where margins are pretty thin, I need to know EXACTLY what I'm spending in real time when running campaigns.
I think the only worse interface out there I've used is Juicy Ads lol.
Anybody else's TJ stats really off the past few days?
Im running mobile and Im like showing 15-20% click discrepancy.
Really annoying /rant
TJ stat updating really sucks... I been having the same issues... It seems to be getting worse...
I think they are just too busy selling their traffic to other networks via flat rate to even care about their own UI.
Yeah I think Im done with TJ for now.
I can't deal with their buggy ass interface bleeding my money lol
Hello,
You are totally right about your complaining for their lag and slow data showing.
every single ad-network has an issue with something, but for me has a very good quality leads which is the most important in the Dating Industry so i stick to them.
TJ is my #1 source for running Dating/adult offers actually.
what i used to do is never look at their stats until the next day and switch to "Yesterday" stats to see what happen, keeping in mind to set a reliable daily budget so i don't bleed money for nothing.
but i will never suggest you to leave their traffic and not run with them. trust me dude, they have great traffic.
another thing i would add is their algorithm is quite different from any other source, try to learn it by time and you will be able to make profit there.
in general keep refreshing the data for any campaign with any ad-network every 30minutes is not a right thing to do and will never let you get the data you want so you can leave it for 3-4 hours and check every 4 hours through your tracker and see.
check my new thread that i shared many tips about TJ using them for 2 years now.

GOOD LUCK
I run on large spots, I can't find out the next day that I'm paying 20% more than expected.
For example the other day based on the CPC they are showing in my dashboard and clicks in my tracker, I thought I was paying about $320/day for a certain campaign and about 2400 clicks.
Low and behold a few hours later the laggy stats "update" it shows I spent $418 on 2900 clicks (click loss of 20%). The CPC was correct (which I used to calculate my spend on), but the amount of clicks was way off, so I was actually spending much more than I thought.
I know when I email support about the click differential they aren't going to do anything about it. They always give me some BS answer like "Oh sometimes our mobile traffic is like that" or "The click difference is probably due to users using VPNs/Proxies" sorry.
I know there is always a difference between traffic source and tracker stats, but on other sources you can account for it because their stats are updating pretty regularly in real time.
I can't make decisions about a campaign when the stats lag so far behind or are so off.
I don't think it's worth dealing with any more.
i wanted to help dude anyways, i don't represent TJ at all or trying to promote them in any way.
set daily budgets to low numbers dude and see what happen maybe.
it's up to you by the end to stop or continue with them
GOOD LUCK
